Blue dot when selecting one face

when I select a face (Ctrl+Shift+LMB) instead of the whole thing (shift+LMB), I used to see a blue dot in the middle of the selected face (DR 2.14). Now in DR 3.0 I don't see that anymore. Is there a setting for this? Or maybe it was removed for a specific reason?

I remember IZaRTaX telling me that over on Discord. Yes, it's been removed, but it was not intentional. :) Feel free to open a tracker for this.
