Nominations are in... What are your predictions?

I bet God of War is going to homerun this thing. Elden Ring is just too long ago and now God of War is all the hype. Best RPG for sure goes to Elden Ring, and maybe best art direction to A Plage Tale, but the remainder, it has to be God of War. 

Hopefully my Indie-Favorite SIFU wins one or two awards, too. Neon White also deserves a win in my book. 🙂

Best adaption has to go to either Arcane or Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Edgerunners is not as good I think, but same as with Elden Ring, the hype around Arcane already dried out, whereas everyone is still kind of talking about Edgerunners.

Seriously haven't played most of these, only played Plague's Tale and Stray (and the first Bayonetta years ago) out of all those. I'm more inclined to look at the winners and then play them based on how they rank.

I haven't played God of War and A Plague's Tale. It's just a gut feeling on my part.

That being said, I wouldn't mind the rankings at all. You can be sure that all nominees are of pretty high quality, so no way to go wrong with any of them.

i'm hoping/expecting a repeat of a few years ago where the big barely month-old release sweeps a lot of categories but loses out to the Fromsoft title that had a solid half year or more to settle. i havent even played or care much for any souls games but especially with Elden Ring and how much my friends were having fun with it, i respect it enough. also it seems to actually respect the player a good deal more than than i've heard about the new God of War

 

i dont think i've played any new commercial game releases this year. at most i may get around to Cultic the next couple weeks.

I had a look at the full list and I don't I've played a single game there, not even the oldies like DOTA 2 or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I don't think I'm a very good contributor to the gaming economy I think. :)

A word of warning, Agent Denton. This was a simulated experience; real LAMs will not be so forgiving.

I hope Elden Ring gets recognized for what it has accomplished. I've put over 400 hours into that game through 6 playthroughs now.

I refunded GoW on PC as I find the combat too limiting and boring.

 

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

      Things have been so bad these days for me...
      Just a year ago, I've been feeling dizzy, I thought it was nothing, today's stress, that type of thing, went to sleep...Still dizzy! 9 more days dizzy, went to doctor (I would have gone on the first day if NOT for the long appointment time)
      Said it may be Neck Dizziness...I did exercises for 6 months, no changes.
      Went to a Physical Therapist, went to another, no changes.
      I've asked my doctor for a full check this time.
      I hated yesteryear so much due to personal reasons, this year might be the same.
      To be brutally honest, I'd rather have cancer or/and chronic pain than suffer dizziness any second longer, especially when nothing helps.
      Hard to enjoy Thief when you're dizzy so I was hoping this year, Winter will be best for me.

      Is there a script command to make a screenshot?
      I just though it could be interesting to be able to create a screenshot at a certain point in time. Then use that screenshot possibly in a debrief.
      I guess the second question is: Can you use a (in-game made) screenshot in a (debrief) gui?
