if I recall correctly, it only need one or two new variable to be available in scripts

Yeah that's what I also gather from looking at the code. I wonder if there isn't another way..

I've noticed in recent videos that there is some weird camera clipping going on with the arms.  Anyone else seeing that?  Specifically when putting the sword away.  Is that just with this modification?  I don't remember that being an issue.

Don't remember.
But yes, if these arms were working fine at some moment, then it's probably some of these "hacks" that are responsible.
