Regarding your first point, you don't need to jump.  There is a ledge just below where you took that screenshot, and that leads you to other ledges and ropes, etc.

The AI - If he stood up he heard you.  Be quieter, and maybe deal with him.  Blackjack, flashbomb, etc.  You can even sneak past him.  There are some annoying TDM bugs with AI and they do weird things. I can't do anything about that unfortunately.

Thanks, I did not see another way up there. Maybe I should turn up the gamma. :)

About the guard. I had no problem sneaking past him. It's just that his animation looked very glitchy. There is some issue going on, and I was wondering what exactly the problem is. But I don't know wether it's a mapping or mod issue.

This is a great mission. The setup of guards and their patrols is very well done; it was fun sneaking around without getting frustrating or tedious. Except for the tavern maybe. That was a little too cramped for my liking. I almost ran out of water arrows (because I try  to knock out as few guards as possible).

I also loved the gloomy mood outside, with the thunder and rain. Very atmospheric.

Still looking for help on how to access the other side of the three barred doors inside and the one barred door outside the Warwick Tower!  Anyone?

@Thief Joe:

Spoiler

In the tower there is a little study/library room with a book on the history of the tower. There is a hatch in the ceiling above the desk. From there, you can reach the caretaker's room. In his room is a secret passage that leads to the rest of the tower.

Wow! I can't believe I missed that!!! Thank you!

after plugging away finding a correct method to trigger this bug, I finally managed to trigger a somewhat strange glitch with a combination of sprint + broadhead arrow + lean forward (F). Somehow on the first try I could easily do it but the next day I had trouble doing the same thing (Perhaps The Builder saw that and decided to reduce its effectiveness /s)

anyone knows what causes this ?

you can use this to bypass a locked door

The same thing also applies at one spot in the Fan mission titled imperial sword, you can ‘walk through the wall’ with this glitch

If you mean the treasury basement where the vault is, there is another way in that you'll come across a bit later.  Doors that make a particular 'clunk' sound and don't work with lockpicks are normally latched from the other side.  If you've already searched your office and aren't sure how to progress, there is another way into that building you're in, just higher up 🙂

I think I must have gone too far forward without searching my office. Which I have no idea where it is?

Look at your map, it's just north of your starting position

Yeah I've noticed this too - I don't even think you need to do anything with the arrow.  There were a couple places where it happened in Lieutenant 3 as well. I don't know what causes it or how to fix it.  There is certainly nothing wrong with the map itself.

🚨 UPDATE! Version 2 is now available. It addresses most of the issues people have found, but the main highlight is a new in-game map provided by the talented @Airship-Ballet!

Unlike version 1, the map isn't in your inventory to start with. You need to find it but it's not hidden.

@nbohr1more could you please update the FM database?

I find the new map not particularly helpful (I've not seen the old one, maybe it's worse). I mean why not a map that is completely clear instead of something totally confusing.

Are you holding it the right way up?

Hello, I need help. I've completed all the tasks, but I can't find the key for the canal door.

I need some help on where to use fishend key and also the place I killed Yardley looks like there is a safe on the wall. Is it openable somehow?

i wasn't aware that happened to leutenant 3 too

I was just experimenting again and it turns out you can use wooden crates to do the same thing

Hi @Heuli

Spoiler

In Fishend, a bunch of the houses are accessible higher up.  Use the ropes to explore.  Try the one opposite from the wrecked boat for a start...

Hi @kin

Spoiler

You need to get into the area where the thugs are (you can see them through the door with the small opening).  You get there by accessing the houses from higher up - use the ropes.

For the safe, look closely above the desk.

Naive question, but could this be related to the "leaning forward can squeeze you through windows" bug I have reported in Lieutenant 3?

could be - I don't know if it's an 'official' TDM bug or not.  Some would need to report it with a test map where you can reproduce it, etc.

well that's interesting

i havent had much luck triggering it without broadhead arrow, amazing to see that you can do it without arrow

here is the video on how i did that with a wooden thing (how do you call it ? a wooden slat? i think that's not even remotely close :D . This was on Volta 3 anyway

sometimes I don't want to file a bug report because I'm waiting for someone who has found a similar bug to chip-in first and i gotta do google search legwork for similar bug, there has to be a precursor for this thing

Just finished. What I liked in this mission is that you never know which windows can open if you don't inspect very closely.

Pretty much all windows that can be opened start partially open. This is the clue to players. There might be one or two unimportant ones that start closed and open from the inside.

That said, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The preliminary working titles for the missions in my now-in-development Partners in Crime series:
      - Partners in Crime 1: A Mere Trinket
      - Partners in Crime 2: Beacon Burglary
      - Partners in Crime 3: In the Bleak Midwinter
      - Partners in Crime 4 (5 ?): Fishy Dealings
      - Partners in Crime 5 (4 ?): A Thief in the Night

No title stealing, please.  In return, I promise to finish these. I do stress the preliminary part. Beyond the broad strokes storyline, plot, objectives, briefings and the (currently built) layouts of these FMs, I haven't fully decided about every single detail yet, including the exact order of the missions (4 and 5 might switch places, with the story adjusted accordingly). I want the overall plot to be plotted out a bit in advance and not suffer too much from inserting prequels later. I also prefer to let my FM building fill out part of the details naturally.

Currently working on the second FM, and once I do enough work on the current prototype, I'll work on the first one, until I get that one released. Then complete the second one, get that one ready for release (hopefully) a few months later, and so on. I want most of the early missions to be fairly small and confined, and get a bit bigger as I grow more confident in my FM making skills.

Though there is an overarching storyline to this series, the missions themselves are mostly episodic in nature. They factor into the character development of the two main characters I'll have in the series, but it's the kind of continuity where the mission's own plot and story wouldn't depend on it.
