Sad news, we lost another one of our own - Mircea Kitsune

It's very sad. I thought they had some really great and interesting ideas. I still have to fully play their missions, but these will be put on the top of my list.

So Mircea was probably his real name (it's a Romanian given name). Somebody wrote that he tried 2 days in a row to go in the water in Eforie Sud with a backpack full of sand. In the 2nd day he was succesful. In that same comment there's a link to a Youtube video from some news channel that shows medics trying to resuscitate him on the beach. Mircea was very active here and also under a lot of my Darkmod related videos on Youtube. So I noticed when the comments stopped.

We should collaborate on a mission in Mircea's honour, like we've done in the past for Sir Taffsalot and Grayman. I no longer feel up to creating a whole mission on my own, but I'll definitely help where I can.

Actually His keypad and telephone game assets are what motivated me to try 3d modeling (I commented that thread month if I'm not mistaken)

 

OTOH, I regret leaving 3dsMax after I tried it for 2 months around 2013 or 2014. During that time, I had no desire to do 3D modeling. A regret not knoeing / mastering this any sooner.

Yes his first attempt was in '19 . I thought it was on his livejournal blog but I was wrong. It's on his Deviantart

Misgendering her (esp. when done intentionally) even after she killed herself because she apparently didn't feel accepted by the world is extremely disrespectful and IMHO completely unacceptable.

The post by her friend linked above said so, and so does her furaffinity profile page.

But even ignoring that, "not saying" does not mean "male" - just avoid using any pronouns then (like Bikerdude did) or use the generic they/them (like you just did).

So everything we know (both from those furaffinity posts and the "not telling" gender here) indicates that Mircea Kitsune did not prefer male pronouns - we should respect that, especially in a topic that mourns this tragic death.

 

(Side-Note: In case the comment in my initial post seemed a bit over the top, please keep in mind that there was at least one very disrespectful post there that has thankfully been deleted since)

May MK find a place where the most gently-to-soul-speaking peace and happiness are in abundance...
