Error no candidates to choose url from (version release214)

To whom this may concern, 

I am attempting to update the dark mod. I recently downloaded an updated installer and put it in my tdm folder. I run the installer, it takes me to browse game location, the file location is correct, i click next, it runs a bunch of stuff and then says, Error no candidates to choose url from (version release214). At the top it says my game version since last down load is 211a.

You never have to browse for game location with installer. Can you show some some screenshots?

The installer didnot get/connect a download mirror.

Restart the installer and retry. 

If that doesnt work, select another mirror by starting the installer > check "get custom version" > next > select  another mirror from "prefer mirror" list and click "next".

An alternative method is to download the full package yourself from other locations like moddb.

Selecting a new mirror was the solution I needed, thank you!
