Problem: Knocking out NPC's kills them.

So am doing a bug fix pass on 'Business as usual' and would like to know, what is the simplest way to prevent this from happening?

I have made the beds noclipmodel, placed nodrawsolid brush just under the surface of the bed and also placed monsterclip brush around the bloody bed.

I think I reported and you fixed this issue in Yuletide Boon. Or do you want a simpler solution?

It also sometimes happens when they sit on a chair though.

Yes, i also noticed it in some missions. Sometimes it can be avoided, when you see the NPC with wild and
 uncontrollable movements after the hit, picking up the body immediately.
