Radiant Or D3 Editor - Same?

Doom3 Editor is somewhat of a nickname. It's official tag is D3Radiant, or a version of Radiant built specifically for D3.

The only 2 platforms you have to choose from are GTKRadiant or D3Radiant. They're basically the same interface wise, the only difference is that GTK is open source. But GTK still has some catching up to do before it can match D3R in features. Right now it only half supports D3.

I see - Thanks that explains it.

Quark sort of semi-supports D3 as well, I guess you will have a few more viable options available as more people get to work on D3 maps, but I think most people are quite happy with D3Radiant as it ships with D3, and frankly I don't see why you would bother with any of the other 3rd party editors when the one that comes with D3 is better supported. Unless for some reason you want to edit D3 in Linux, in which case I believe that GTK Radiant is the only one that works, but don't quote me on that.

:)

I've updated the articles for your FMs and your author category at the wiki. Your newer nickname (DeTeEff) now comes first, and the one in parentheses is your older nickname (Fieldmedic). Just to avoid confusing people who played your FMs years ago and remember your older nickname. I've added a wiki article for your latest FM, Who Watches the Watcher?, as part of my current updating efforts. Unless I overlooked something, you have five different FMs so far.

I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.

You cannot receive PMs. Could you please be so kind and check your mailbox if it is full (or maybe you switched off the function)?

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).
