They're three (four now as I added a new one) different models. They're named as part of a family: bracket_wooden05, bracket_wooden05_rope1, bracket_wooden05_rope2, etc.

I was assuming that after the freeze any new assets would wait for 2.03. It's fine either way with me.

The projected shadow is basically like a decal, so it doesn't have the performance impact of regular light. I'm actually working on adding them to all light entities by default, now that SteveL has figured out how to link them properly to the other lights on an entity for me (so they go off and on in sync with the normal flame). They're looking great on candles.

Top work Springheel! Good idea to pinch some ideas from Thief as well because from a visual standpoint that game was amazing

A crate with some white paint on it would be great :P

Next in the series of "Inspired by Thief"...shop signs. Two different model sizes, with a couple generic signs and then two blank versions that mappers can add their own text to.

You should do a load with typical british pub names on, what did you use to overlay the fonts..? gimp or PS..?

I didn't want to do too many stock ones, as they're relatively easy to make. No need to bloat the core mod with lots of textures that are of limited use. The three I made are pretty generic and can be used as a guide for creating unique ones for individual missions. I used photoshop to make them but I'm sure the same thing could be done in gimp. Or you could even use a gui decal over one of the empty ones. Lots of options.

You know what would make it even more cool, if you attach the projector to a func_bobing or func_rotator and have the shadow animated that way or even animate the projector with a script, imo it makes the scene feel more alive that way, if you see a brazier in real life the shadows are always moving around.

Has anybody thought about a service cart? A cart to carry food and drink to the dinning rooms in a Mansion or Large office building, or Cathedral setting? This might already be in the works, I just haven't run across one yet.

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

      I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

      Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

      Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
