adamsucks Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 (edited) I submitted an article to Digg.com about the Dark Mod and I really need everyone's help to get this on the front page. If we can get TDM on the front page of digg, that means hundreds of thousands of people who didn't already know the mod even existed will now know.... including people that could assist in the development of the mod. Which means we may get to play it sooner.. and could end up being 100x better. So please... DIGG IT (link fixed, thanks Vadrosaul)http://tinyurl.com/mle5v Now I'm off to the Eidos forums to post the same thing. UPDATE:I guess there isn't a timeframe on Digg... but I read the TOS and I must have read it wrong... digg says it's still there after 1 day and 5 hours. I guess they just meant there must be activity on the topic within 24 hours. It's still going strong after 30 hours!! Keep them coming guys!! Keep digging it until it can't be dugg anymore Edited August 7, 2006 by adamsucks Quote
Vadrosaul Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 The link doesn't work Quote Loose BOWELS are the first sign of THE CHOLERA MORBUS!
adamsucks Posted August 6, 2006 Author Report Posted August 6, 2006 Thanks for pointing that out.. the forum trunicated the url because it was too long. Fixed with a tinyurl. Quote
Gildoran Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 I should point out that we're not continuing the Thief saga. Our universe and gameplay will be heavily Thief-inspired, and mappers not affiliated with us could potentially make Thief-themed maps, but TDM does not take place in the Thief universe. Quote
Dram Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 LOL, I love the first reply there "At first I thought this had something to do with increasing the brightness levels in Doom 3." Quote

I was hesitant to use the word saga in my post on digg.. but then I realized I wasn't referring to the Thief story itself, but rather the greatness of the Thief games overall. Either way.. so far we're getting some good support from the guys over at Eidos. One of the Eidos forum moderators posted a long and very good reply to the digg article. Check it out To everyone:It only takes a couple minutes to register on digg.com. We need all the help we can get to put this article on the front page. Edited August 6, 2006 by adamsucks Quote
