LOL. Any biblical reference in that picture -- or any other reference for that matter -- is purely accidental. No thought went into it at all, except: "Hey! Let's create some interesting artwork with the messed up ropes here!" :)

What's a "holy water potion"?

When the thief drinks it he turns into an avatar of the Builder god, gaining the powers of pagan-smiting and church-building. The churches are built out of blocks of stone (which are created by firing Stone Arrows into the ground), using the crushed remains of pagan bodies as mortar. Once you build a church the game transitions into the god-sim minigame, codenamed "Darker and Lighter Shades of Grey", where you have to repetitively pick trees all day long with a giant hand while training a pet creature to smite villagers with the Builder's hammer.

 

Or, if you don't want to take that gameplay route, it also serves as a tasty refreshing drink. Mmmn, bottled holy water.

My games | Public Service Announcement: TDM is not set in the Thief universe. The city in which it takes place is not the City from Thief. The player character is not called Garrett. Any person who contradicts these facts will be subjected to disapproving stares.

I hear they actually did that in the US in the 30's or 40's, tape worm diet pills.

Now, truly, I have heard it all. Then again, a nice tapeworm infestation is probably safer and easier to control than the current crop of diet pills and gimmicks.

      I think I still have the login details for the Google Account used to log in to The Dark Mod's official YouTube channel. With all the new videos that have been done regarding 2.12 and 2.13, it really feels like it's time for an update. I don't know if logging into another account is going to work, as I've had some issues with it in recent times, but If I manage to do so, I'll do some updating regarding the newer videos.

      I've started working on a new mission and today I thought it would be cool to merge it with something I worked on back in 2018...It was back when I thought it was cool to work in "spread out your project like old marmalade on every wall in your house" so it took some time to fix broken assets and optimize file names and material files and those things...But it feels nice to hopefully be able to implement all that effort I put down back then. It will be "något i hästväg" as we say in Sweden
