I'm trying out editing "Dromed Style" with the 3D window top left, XY top right, ZY and ZX in bottom left and bottom right. But I like to resize it so the XY is largest, 3D is medium, ZY is smallest, and ZX is small but wide as XY. Anyway, whenever I start DarkRadiant again all the windows are always reset to same-size rectangles.

I tried the other views and resized stuff and closed DarkRadiant, and it seems to save their positions when I start again. So I think it's just the Dromed style that has the problem.

Confirmed. I opened an issue in the Bugtracker - don't know how easy this is to fix, but I can look into it. :)

(However, I personally don't like the splitplane view, but that's a matter of taste really)

Hehe, woops! I remembered it wrong, and didn't need to use it anyway! It's "orthographic", but I realize I really just meant "window layout'

That issue should be resolved on SVN.

(However, I opened another issue in the bugtracker that concerns the redesign of the handling of the various mainframe layouts, as there are a tad too much if-clauses around for my taste.)

Yeah, it's comitted to the sourceforge code repository, but not released yet. You can always build DarkRadiant from source, if you're inclined to do such things (I could post instructions on the Wiki if there is demand).

If you do not want to mess around with compilers, you're better off waiting for the next release. :)

I wouldn't mind having some instructions on the wiki to build under windows, it would be great. :) I tried to get things working under windows awhile ago, but I could never get it to work. It would be nice to test on both linux and windows though.

Having these instructions would definitly be a good idea, because sometime in the futre others will also want to do it. :) Same for the mod itself. NH, I think you already tried to compile once under Linux, right?

Just one little thing, when I select the left or right layout options, There is nothing in the menus to be able to select "View Entities Inspector" or the Media tab either.

I found that the shortcut is N which opens the Entity Inspector with the Media tab combined. It's fine how it works, but should probably be in the View menu as well (probably you've already fixed this!)

I just checked, the View menu entries are there in these two layouts (development version). I seem to have accidentally fixed it while refactoring the splitpane-related code. :)

Happy Labour Day, my taffing taffers & hard working mapping friends!

Is there a script command to make a screenshot?
I just though it could be interesting to be able to create a screenshot at a certain point in time. Then use that screenshot possibly in a debrief.
I guess the second question is: Can you use a (in-game made) screenshot in a (debrief) gui?
