Very nice! (I'm just finished listening).

I can imagine that some of these would fit really well as background ambience, some are maybe a bit too dramatic but that of course depends on the map.

May I add a suggestion? 12, 12_1 and 7 make use of this synthetic bell, which I don't like too much. Leave the bell out and it's perfect!

My favourite is 14.

Downloaded, will give it a listen when I'm at home. Really liked the lockpicking sounds, good quality. I have no problem with making him a member - it's pakmannen's call, I guess.

comp-music, just one thing: Could you encode files larger than 500k? The main reason for using wav files is faster access in-game, but sound files especially tend to gather up in size fast, and we want to keep the mod size slim.

It also helps people who access the internet with .. uhm .. nostalgic hardware, like me.

I can't download, I just some crap about a "download limit" even though I have never visited that site before. Can somebody upload it to http://www.sendmefile.com/ -- that's what I used to use for DarkRadiant distributions and they are not quite as lame as RapidShare seem to be.

Huh, interesting, I've never seen 24Bit PCM wavs. I can't even open them in audacity, although I can play them in winamp and convert them to oggs just fine - I guess Doom 3 should be able to handle them though.

I like what I'm hearing, just one question: Are some of them supposed to loop? A few have a fade in, and some have a very nasty pop when looping (7 for example, left channel). Not sure about the bell, but very nice synth work elsewise!

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
