A Theivery-like Thief mod (Human Guards and Human Thieves) wouldn't be half bad, either.

 

Unfortunately, because of the DARK engine, Hiding in the shadows would be difficult. The thieves' models would have to turn semi- to near-full transparent in different levels of darkness to prevent silhouettes.

 

Else, just a model change for guards. Don't forget a few tweaks to variables like running speed (Ringmail gets heavy), sword swing rate, damage resistance (if wearing ANY armor), and a few others should do it.

This is already a feature. You adjust it from the ThiefMP config file to whatever level of transparency you want.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

I don't think that MP effort will ever produce anything reasonable either.

 

But I do think that 2 player Co-Op in Thief could work. Not with the old engine, but in something like TDM or whatever Thief 4 will use. If you have to work together it would be great fun. One distracting a guard whilst the other steals something, one turning off an alarm at one side of a building so the other can get into a vault and so on.

It's been beta released lol.

      Things have been so bad these days for me...
      Just a year ago, I've been feeling dizzy, I thought it was nothing, today's stress, that type of thing, went to sleep...Still dizzy! 9 more days dizzy, went to doctor (I would have gone on the first day if NOT for the long appointment time)
      Said it may be Neck Dizziness...I did exercises for 6 months, no changes.
      Went to a Physical Therapist, went to another, no changes.
      I've asked my doctor for a full check this time.
      I hated yesteryear so much due to personal reasons, this year might be the same.
      To be brutally honest, I'd rather have cancer or/and chronic pain than suffer dizziness any second longer, especially when nothing helps.
      Hard to enjoy Thief when you're dizzy so I was hoping this year, Winter will be best for me.

      Is there a script command to make a screenshot?
      I just though it could be interesting to be able to create a screenshot at a certain point in time. Then use that screenshot possibly in a debrief.
      I guess the second question is: Can you use a (in-game made) screenshot in a (debrief) gui?
