Burricks - Should We Make More?

I found this post over at ISA (http://forums.ionstorm.com/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=342075). Are there any desires here in DarkMod to make multiple versions of Burricks?

I liked burricks so much I had to make several different types:

Frost Burricks (breath freezing ice clouds)

Huge Frost Burricks (Very big Frost Burricks)

Fat Frost Burricks (Very fat Frost Burricks)

Giant Frost Burricks (Dinasour sized)

Lava Burricks (Glowing hot, and spits lava blobs)

Shadow Burricks (Black Burricks with white eyes that breath dark energy)

Swamp Chompers (The green Burricks really bite!)

Skeletonal Burricks (The undead kind)

Right, I remember those discussions regarding other animals. Which I agree to. But I wasn't sure if there was a desire for different breeds of burricks, or not.

I guess we can do more later. For now it's enough if we have one type and we agreed to make different sized ones.

I don't think we need to put every little thing in there. Just the more significant decisions.

(Go the burricks thread!)

Desicions made, with summaries of the discussion, are different than design documents, which have explicit instructions on how things are done, right?

What I'll do for now, is seperate each idea into posts. That'll make way more sense.

I can't edit Springs and do the same with his, so unless I re-post his, I'll have to let him do it himself.

I created a sticky just for that. You should attach your postings there, because the design section is for agreed and approved ideas, while the idea thread is just a collection of loose ideas we shouldn't forget.

Would it be easier for a mod to move them? For me it involves editing each post, copying the contents, making a new post, and pasting the contents in, and submitting, for each one. Not fast on a 56k.

I was just following Springs "grand desicion thread". Have you had a look? It's not the "idea's thread" that you made earlier. It's for concluded discussions.

I was just trying to get all our major decisions down in one place. Your posts go into much more detail, Domarius, and kind of make mine redundant anyway, I think.

Actually most of the stuff you posted in there is not decided yet, it just has been discussed, but no final decision has been reached. As for moving. I think you can't move postings. You just can move an entire thread. So I would suggest that you continue with the ideas thread, where appropriate and leave this one as it is.

As people already complained about having to read long postings, I guess nobody will read it either way. Except me it seems. ;)

Finally got my PC back from the shop after my SSD got corrupted a week ago and damaged my motherboard. Scary stuff, but thank goodness it happened right after two months of FM development instead of wiping all my work before I could release it. New SSD, repaired Motherboard and BIOS, and we're ready to start working on my second FM with some added version control in the cloud just to be safe!

I've updated the articles for your FMs and your author category at the wiki. Your newer nickname (DeTeEff) now comes first, and the one in parentheses is your older nickname (Fieldmedic). Just to avoid confusing people who played your FMs years ago and remember your older nickname. I've added a wiki article for your latest FM, Who Watches the Watcher?, as part of my current updating efforts. Unless I overlooked something, you have five different FMs so far.

I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.

You cannot receive PMs. Could you please be so kind and check your mailbox if it is full (or maybe you switched off the function)?
