Attaching sounds to animations

I want to play a cough sound when AI play the cough animation. Looking at the D3 def files, I see:

 

frame 1							sound_voice snd_pain

 

I know 'frame' tells the sound exactly when to play, and I assume 'snd_pain' is the name of the soundshader. What is 'sound_voice'? And what would be the tdm equivalent?

sound_voice just means that the sound is played on the VOICE channel, which is OK in your case. You can use it just fine in TDM.
