Ha! So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him. And saaaaaay "HEY! Bad guy! You're not s'pposed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword...'til you go...'Ouch I'm dead!' Ahahahah (hic) See? Ain't no one gonna be messin with old Benny."

Huh?

Heh. Yahtzee is always good value!

(Hang on - no Dark Mod shoutout? Bastard. :P )

My games | Public Service Announcement: TDM is not set in the Thief universe. The city in which it takes place is not the City from Thief. The player character is not called Garrett. Any person who contradicts these facts will be subjected to disapproving stares.

I love that this guy is famous - he's a local, and actually has been around our office a few times to test our games with other members of Australian gamer.

In case you guys aren't aware, they are making a new gaming show in Australia

http://www.gamedamage.net/

You can watch the pilot episode there - he is one of the 3 guys hosting the show.

Here's the youtube link, some people have had trouble playing the vid directly from the site

Also, as an added bonus, me and my co-workers are in there for a split second!!

Jump to 0:24:50 and watch from there.

That's me jumping in front - I had the idea to jump across the group like an idiot, and they liked it so much they got me to do it again till we got it right.

You can see our studio logo overlayed over the top, Halfbrick studios.

The guy is pretty cool - he's actually nice when he takes his hat off, and by that I mean when he isn't putting on the cynical facade, which is almost NEVER :) but he does such a good job of it anyway. In one of our post-game test interviews, one of the questions was "Would you buy this game?" and he answered "Yes. But then again, I'm disgustingly rich."

Does anybody have a download link? I can't get the flash to play, my 64bit just refuses it at all and my 32bit laptop shows a black square :(

It's not bad, I could see it on G4tech tv but those halo scenes irritated me!

I loved it as always, but the Heavenly Swords one is still my favorite;

"But I'm going to be seriously pissed off if twing-twang isn't some cutesy euphemism for lesbian cunnilingus; Yeah I WENT THERE":laugh::wub:

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

I loved that little graphic of the cathedral that was getting kicked down the steps when talking about how the mission layout went to hell in T:DS.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought T2 was the best of the 3. I love TDP of course, but TMA was just too much fun.

Couldn't agree more. I just loved the steampunk architecture in T2, as well as the robots etc

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
