What's wrong with using it just because doom uses it?

Are we going to avoid calling our zombies 'zombies' becasue doom have creatures of the same name?

Doom didn't invent revenant, it's in the dictionary and has been used in other games and movies.

It's as broad a term as zombie, so I dont see any problem with it.

We just have to be sure our filename is different than the D3 revenant, to avoid conflicts.

Revenant is used everywhere actually. Warcraft3, D&D, Dungeon Siege, Diablo2 and there's even a game that is called "Revenant".

It wouldn't be new to alot of gamers, but it's still a kick ass name for a kick ass bad guy.

Great work as always oDDity!

As I've said (many times) when in the game, the boots regain their proper size due to perspective.

Anyway, the feet are the least important part of a model, they recive the least polys and the smallest amount of UV texture space, the head being the opposite.

There is no way to make the chains anything other than cardboard cut-outs from square polygons without using thousands of extra polys, so they will just have to suck. They can't even cast shaows either, so they will have to suck even more.

That's what I never understood. Why have the boot to be bigger? If I look at a person I usually do this form the eye perspective and the persons all look ok. Why should the boots be made bigger?Perspective is always the same. Can you show a sample with normal boots and bigger boot side by side?

I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).
