who here never cought itself analizing ways to break through some building, or looking for some wooden surface next to windows where you can put your rope arrow.... while going to the super market?

entering somewhere and the first thing you look is for dark corners..

I did that before Thief was ever conceived

At my friends house, her mum has this large expensive ornate plate with gold trimming hanging on the wall that looks JUST like the ones you can steal in T2, and when I first saw it, for a breif moment, I experienced the desire to right-click click it and hear "grinnnngg!!"

After playing thief it happens that I try to stick to the shadows on the street.

 

And in my area, there are many small yards in fron of houses that remind me VERY much of Thief. One even has a tree, that looks exactly like these round trees they have in game.

That's never happened to me after playing Thief, but I did become a more aggressive driver after long bouts of GTA3
