Springheel 4645
I'm getting that error for voices/generic/spit.ogg. I can't seem to fix it in Audacity...anyone have an easy way to save it at a different frequency? greebo 61
I think you can specify the OGG frequency in Audacity's preferences, can't you?
Springheel 4645
I can't find how. I thought I found a way to do it but it didn't appear to work, and I think I recall Dram saying he wasn't able to use Audacity for that either. Springheel 4645
I did that, but it didn't seem to change it. Mortem Desino 66
Odd, since that's how I got my custom OGG conversation files converted. Quote yay seuss crease touss dome in ouss nose tair
Springheel 4645
Well, it's quite possible I did something wrong. Springheel 4645
I tried again. It seems like the export process itself is setting the rate back at 48000, regardless of whether I change it or not. Crispy 8
Does Edit -> Preferences -> Quality tab -> Default Sample Rate help you any? Springheel 4645
Apparently not, as it's already set at 44100. Dram had the same problem: It seems wonderful audacity has chosen to export the ogg files in 48000hz, doom 3 OF COURSE only takes a max of 44100, and OF COURSE audacity does not have it configurable (wtf?). It doesn't *always* save it at 48000, as I've saved lots of successful .oggs in the past. Just not this one. greebo 61
Have you tried saving it as WAV, and the re-saving it as OGG? Otherwise, Mortem, can you have a look at that file if it worked for you?
Springheel 4645
Yep, I tried that too. Mortem Desino 66
I'm sorry: I pointed you to the wrong combo box. You want "project rate" set before you convert to WAV, OGG, or MP3. Quote yay seuss crease touss dome in ouss nose tair
Springheel 4645
Ah, that did it, thanks Mortem.
