I've read a number of articles over at infowars since the pandemic flu kicked off, and pretty much all of them have been full of misinformation, if not outright inaccuracies.

That usually applies to other topics too. Alex Jones has little concern for any of the subject matters that he covers.

4 of my classmates have gotten A seasonal flu. 1 of them was H1N1. I've personally never gotten any form of any seasonal flu. No vaccine needed for me.

I already contracted and fought off a 72-hour flu of fatigue, migraines, and near-blackouts (no coughing, weezing, stomachaches, sneezing, etc. that H1N1 has).

I'm done for the year. I got my annual 72-hour flu right on time like I do every autumn, so I'm okay for the rest of the season.

Swine Flu vaccine = gray death aka Deus Ex plague?

No.

My games | Public Service Announcement: TDM is not set in the Thief universe. The city in which it takes place is not the City from Thief. The player character is not called Garrett. Any person who contradicts these facts will be subjected to disapproving stares.

Bah! If you're afraid of a flu shot (that's ONLY what h1n1 is) why not try an anthrax vaccine? It feels like it leaves a bead of hot metal in your arm for 3 days.

Oh wait, no. Even though we were scared to death about it before, we didn't bother inoculating the general public with it unless you asked REALLY nicely or joined the armed forces.

H1N1 is like getting the flu. Actually, it is getting the flu. For real. If you're particularly scared of contracting it: go ahead and get vaccinated, no harm should come of it. If harm could come of it: the surgeon general wouldn't allow it. If you're scared to death of "dangerous" ingredients: a vaccine is usually around 99.9% saline. You'd be getting only trace amounts of what might increase your risk of a nasty disease.

You know what will REALLY increase your risk of contracting a nasty disease? Licking the keyboard of a library computer.

it wasn't that bad, pain wise, did however make this disgusting crater in my shoulder that looked like the inside of an oyster and didn't heal for almost a month.

thanks a lot uncle Sam for that one and about half a dozen other experimental meds you made me take.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
