1. looks like your overall volume is too loud. try lowering it to a range where your footsteps is barely hearable.
2. Not nitpicking at all. Correctly adjusting volume levels is important but often neglected, even in commercial games (in Dungeons and Dragons Online there are certain quests with background music which is deafening and renders the game sounds inaudible, making me wonder if the developers ever actually test their own game). It's very easy to introduce a cool new sound or piece of music but make it too loud, because subjectively "loud sounds better" to most listeners. Waveform normalisation doesn't solve this problem, because many sounds need to play at different volumes, and peak amplitude doesn't entirely determine subjective loudness in any case. If background music plays at the same RMS power as guard shouts, then the music will sound too loud and the player will struggle to hear the guard shouts at all. I don't think new cvars are needed, just some sensible tweaks to the volume offsets in the sound data files. If particular sounds are too loud, this can be tweaked by adding small volume reductions (e.g. steps of -2 dB) in the sound shader until the subjective volume levels seem more similar. One thing I learned in music production is how much you can progressively lower the volume of a sound while it still remains completely audible (because human hearing is non-linear), but it fits so much better in the mix once it's reduced to a similar level as surrounding sounds.
3. @Dragofer can you grace the TTLG folk with a thread? ( www.ttlg.com/forums )?
4. Yes, try to update your video drivers. And if there is a darkmod.log in your darkmod folder, we would like to see it. Open the file with notepad and copy its content in this topic. in the following topics, you can find some other pointers: https://forums.thedarkmod.com/index.php?/search/&q=black screen&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=58
5. @STiFU thanks for pointing it out, I've fixed it. It seems the new forums don't really like text getting copy-pasted in.
6. Jeez. First, why triple posting? Edit button is your friend. Second, wrap some damn spoiler tags around most of what you wrote about the story. I don't care about it that much since I already read that by accident, but some people might want to play the game and learn that by themselves.

8. It's that time of the year where I come here to recommend a game that really blew my mind and I wish more people would play it. Lair of the clockwork god on Steam This is from the creators of Ben there Dan that and Time gentlemen, please. Lair of the clockwork god is, at its core, a point and click adventure game. Except the gimmick is that it's also a platformer. You can control either character at any time, one wants to be a platformer the other is still clinging to the point and click genre. OK, so the gimmick is just a hook and it fades to the background quickly; that's not why I recommend it, I recommend it because the game itself is just utterly brilliant and hilarious. It made me laugh out loud many times. And the cleverness of the puzzles made my jaw drop many times. It's hard to take someone's word for it, but it's harder to give examples without spoiling the game. It was launched recently but I already think it has been criminally overlooked and underrated.
9. Not so long ago I found what could make a pretty good profile picture and decided to try it out on these new forums. But I couldn't find a button anywhere that would let me change it. I asked on Discord and it seems Spooks also couldn't find anything anywhere. So I logged into an old alternative account and, lo and behold, that account has a button. This is on the first screen I get when I: 1) click on my account name in the top-right of the browser -> 2) click on 'profile'. Compared to my actual account: Are you also missing this button on your account? It'd be very much appreciated if that functionality could be restored to any of the affected accounts.
10. I think the footstep sounds question is rather tricky, I haven't checked the raw samples, but I bet they don't have similar compression / normalization levels, so they can be tweaked in relation to each other in sound shaders. As for realism, I'd ditch it in favor of familiarity and playability on the first possible occasion So the whole " why thief with hard soles" discussion is irrelevant to me, I have no problem with tile being loud, stone and wood being a bit more quiet, because that's a "surface difficulty level" convention known from Thief, etc., etc.
11. I can't seem to find if this has been solved already so here goes..I started playing "Full Moon Fever" and it seems that Lights/TDM_Lanternlight is the source of a VERY loud Constant HUM. So Much so that I can't play the mission. I'm Playing around with the Console and "Editsounds" but it does not list a Lights/TDM_Lanternlight. I know its the source because if I Flip a Switch in game that turns the Lights off the sound disappears. Any help would be appreciated and keep on making GREAT missions

13. Inn Business It's business, at an inn, over three nights. Development screenshots: Download: https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing Update 1.48 uploaded March 8th, 2014, one change: patches key rarely not being frobable in one of its possible spots Big thanks to my beta testers: Airship Ballet, Kyyrma and AluminumHaste! Development supporters of note: Sotha, Springheel and Obsttorte. Also thanks Sotha, for urinating in my mission. ;-) And thanks Kyyrma for the title screen! My appreciation to all forum/wiki contributors, without whom, this wouldn't exist. Thanks to positive commenters on my previous mission too, extra motivation helps! :-) Note this uses campaign features, what you use the first night, impacts subsequent nights. And to quote a tester, "...the level is maybe best experienced in more than one sitting". If you do pause between nights, please be sure to save, you can't begin partway through effectively. (If you accidentally start a night you already completed, just fail the kill objective to switch to another night.) If your frame rates are too low facing the cemetery, please reduce your "Object Details LOD" setting. It was designed with "AI Vision" set to "Forgiving", to be able to sneak through with minimal reactions, if you want more/less, adjust your settings accordingly. There are several random, conditional aspects, and ways of going about things, so others might have slightly different experiences. Post here if you discover hidden objectives for extra points! My condolences to loot completionists, I made a bit on the third night hard, you've got your challenge cut out for you! Speaking of which, there's a TDM bug that mission complete totals too high, here are the real amounts per night: 2026/970/202. Oh, there is something that in the U.S. would be rated PG, in case you play with kids in earshot. I hope you enjoy playing it, feel free to let me know you did, and I'm glad to respond to inquiries (like how stuff was done, nothing was scripted). (Note which night you are referring to if it's something specific.) (Please remember spoiler tags to not expose things meant to be discovered by playing.) Like so:
secrets
Developed for TDM 2.01. PS: Thiefette, good news, no spiders! Springheel, if you find an optional objective you can skip...you might find it immersion breaking. Others, no undead! There are a couple other interactive critters though. :-) Edit note: Some posts below were from users of an unreleased version of TDM 2.02 which broke several things, they do not reflect regular game-play.
14. We didn't make the holidays (such a busy time of year) so here's a New Year's gift, an unusual little mission. Window of Opportunity Recover an item for a regretful trader out in a wilderness setting, and discover more! Available within the in-game mission downloader or: Download: http://www.thedarkmo...ndetails/?id=79 Alternative: https://drive.google...WTMzQXZtMVFBSG8 Some unorthodox gameplay on regular/ghost difficulties. (Arachnophobes might prefer short mode...) Please expect to need your lantern in regular and ghost modes! Short ("easy") mode is a smaller map, so if you are looking for areas others reference below, or 100% of the loot, you'll need to play on another mode. I wanted to create my first mission before I became influenced by too many others' ideas, and limited myself to what has been done before. As such, this mission is not set in a city/town, and has some features that are likely to be provocative. There's a section some really like, which others don't, either way I kept it short to not last too long. That being said, I hope you do find it fun! :-) Special thanks to those who provided valuable testing and feedback: Goldwell, Kyyrma, plotzzz, 161803398874989, PPoe & Bikerdude (who also contributed a sound). (Please remember spoiler tags to not expose things meant to be discovered by playing.) Like so:
secrets
If you are having trouble finding the main objective, here's what to pay attention to in the mission for hints: There is a spot it's possible to get stuck on the ground in the corner by the cliff/rockfall where there's a rope laying on the ground, please take care if you poke around there!
15. DarkRadiant 2.8.0 is ready for download. Next to a considerable number of bugfixes and improvements, a nice amount of new editing features made it into this build. There's a new way to select items by filter, it's possible to retain grouping information when copy-pasting between DarkRadiant sessions, a new "Select Parent Entities" command has been added, and more. A new DarkRadiant User Guide is being worked on and available on the website https://www.darkradiant.net/userguide (also accessible through the About > User Guide menu option). 16. It's not a problem if the solution is easily found here on the forums or on the wiki. A compiled tweaking/troubleshooting guide for old computers. We need to digitally immortalize things that worked. For this: Thank you! Also this: This is also useful for the purpose of optimizing to the depths of the Mariana Trenches.
17. Description: Fleece the mansion of a former colleague that betrayed you. This is a relatively small, straightforward thieving mission set in an upper-class neighborhood. Version: 1.0 File: The mission is now available via the in-game downloader. If you need to download it separately, the link is below: PK4: https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing Beta Testers: Airship Ballet RJFerret Thanks: First, to my excellent beta testers, who were prompt with responses and thorough with their testing. Several small but important gameplay tweaks came about as a result of beta testing, and the mission is better off for them. Second, to Fidcal, who I've not had the pleasure of "meeting" on the forums. His incredible tutorial made this mission possible. Third, to everyone who helped me out in small ways on the forums. Grayman graciously fixed a couple problems for me via PM, and several of you answered my questions in the Newbie thread. Notes: This is my first FM for any Thief game, and incorporates many of the techniques learned in Fidcal's A-Z tutorial (as well as a couple others I picked up along the way or during beta testing). It was intended as equal parts playable, fun mission, and as a way for me to learn how to make a functional level using DR. I'm happy with the result, and I hope you are too! As a secondary note, from installing Dark Radiant to typing this sentence, it couldn't have been than two months. My hobby-level skills as a graphic designer and programmer undoubtedly helped some, but honestly most of it was just slogging through Fidcal's tutorial in my free time. Anyone can learn this quickly and create working, fun levels. Preview Shots: {note, some of these locations will look slightly different in the final version, as these were taken before beta testing} http://imgur.com/a/AuxWJ
18. Hello, everyone! I've done some searches in the forums, and looked in the troubleshooting on the wiki, but there's a problem that's been in Dark Mod for the past version or two that's now prevalent enough for me to log in and report. Not sure if it's an issue with the Dark Mod itself or just one model of light that someone developed and is using in more and more missions, but it's driving me nuts. In several missions, electric lights are used and the tone the game has them emanate...well, I'm supposing it's supposed to be a soft hum, but instead it's a piercingly loud sine wave kind of tone, like you'd hear if you were taking a hearing aid test. It's literally deafening compared to the sounds in the rest of the game, and as more and more levels use this light, it's really cutting down on the levels I want to play. Since no other users seem to be reporting this, I'm wondering if it's because of my particular audio configuration. I am using EAX (through Creative ALchemy) on Windows 10 on a current Sound Blaster card, so I'm wondering if somehow the EAX processing is making the sound so damn loud. The latest mission that seems to have this sound is "In The Black." I'm including a screenshot of one of the lamps in question. This one is in kind of an odd spot on an internal balcony railing, and I can hear it buzzing from well down the hall in another room. There are other rooms that have several of these lamps as well. Is there any kind of tweaking I can do in the .pk4 files to silence this model of lamp until the issue is resolved? I really want to be able to play these missions without being deafened. I'm up for any kind of troubleshooting, or if you'd like me to make a recording from a USB mic of how loud the tone is compared to other sounds in the game to hear exactly what I'm experiencing.
19. Root cause is: wxgtk also tags incomplete releases, so the latest isn't offered to install.
20. [Forgive me if this is the wrong place for this discussion.] I've been beta testing two new FMs: JackFarmer's Hidden Hands: The Last Citadel, and The Painter's Wife. They are both large missions. In each mission, testers have run into a problem related to event limits. (Note: all of my testing is has been done on the most recent 2.08 beta). 1) In HH:TLC, at some point in the mission TDM crashes. There is no "The DarkMod.exe has stopped working" dialog - the process just disappears. One other beta tester reported a CTD as well. In addition, JackFarmer indicated that he had seen this error occasionally during his testing. I set logging levels and found this in qconsole.txt: "Recursive fatal error!". I tried to debug this issue further by building a debug version of the executable and setting break points in Visual Studio. Eventually I was able to get the error message to log: idEvent::Alloc : No more free events (I posted the details in this topic: https://forums.thedarkmod.com/index.php?/topic/20404-beta-testing-hidden-hands-the-lost-citadel/&do=findComment&comment=447958). From what I can tell, reading the code, this happens because we have exceeded MAX_EVENTS, which is currently 10240: #define MAX_EVENTS (10<<10) 2) In TPW, I got this error: [In case the graphic isn't readable, the dialog says this "Game Error. Event Overflow. Possible infinite loop in script."] The FM developers have also seen this issue during development and testing of the mission. The C++ code indicates that this error occurs because the number of events exceed MAX_EVENTSPERFRAME, which is also 10240. It certainly could be that there are bugs in these missions, that they are either inefficient or have a loop somewhere that is causing these problems. But I'd like to entertain the possibility that these large missions are simply pushing the boundaries of the event limits. I'm wondering if the event limit should be increased (that is, increase the value of constants MAX_EVENTS and MAX_EVENTSPERFRAME). I understand that there may be consequences of doing this - at a minimum, presumably, the DM exe might consume more memory. I just did a test: I had a save file from HH:TLC that always crashed on 2.08 - after loading the save, if I just waited for a couple of minutes, the CTD happens every time. I downloaded the source code matching the current 2.08 beta 5 (SVN 8735). I built the release version and tried again - again, the same CTD happened within a few minutes. I then modified the code to double MAX_EVENTS and MAX_EVENTSPERFRAME, to 20480. Those are the only two changes I made. I rebuilt the Release version of the executable, ran it, and loaded that same save. This time, TDM did not crash. I acknowledge that this is a rather brute force fix. I'm not suggesting that 20480 is the best size to use. But, to me, it looks like there are a couple of large missions that are pushing up against the event limit. Perhaps it is time to consider bumping up this limit, as part of 2.08? I'll sit back now and let the real TDM developers tell me why I'm wrong
21. Story: "Sir Barrington, as he likes to be known, enjoys a prestigious reputation of having lavish yet intimate dinner parties. I've heard the tales about what goes on in the noble's dining room, but I believed none of them 'till now. Orbach, a local shop-keep who makes special deliveries to the people of 'high stature' heard Sir Henry Hughbellow raving about Sir Barrington's special 'Elixir', It cures your ails and gives you vigor... By the Hammer, it extends your very life! he exclaimed. Orbach begged Sir Henry for a small sample, and after one sip he was sure that the potion was nothing more than mineral water and spirit. He asked Sir Henry if other folks were as fond of the elixir as he was, and he found out that folks are paying handsomely for these small vials on a weekly basis. Some lords pay for exclusive treatments and bathe in the tonic. Lord Barrington even brings in an occult expert every month, where supposedly the power of the elixir is renewed by the full moon. Never one to pass up the opportunity for a good scam, Orbach has decided to take a cut of this 'elixir' business. He has made an elixir of his own, but needs to convince Sir Henry that it's really the same as the 'magical' tonic that Lord Barrington has been selling. And that's where I come in. Its rumered that Sir Barrington's prized possession is a painting of the revolutionary inventor 'Guillermo de Sohase' the day after he won the Battle of Billinsdune. If I can steal this painting, Orbach can use it to 'prove' that he also got the elixir from Sir Barrington. Once Sir Henry tells all his friends that Orbach's stolen elixir is healing his heart, soothing his pains, and igniting his libido, they'll be lining up at his shop. Its time to go." Build Time: Version 1.0 was speed build of sorts, to build upon Springheels video's with the new modules. Took roughly 20hrs to build but this ended up happening over the space of a few months.http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/18808-bikerdudes-speedish-build-using-the-new-modules/?hl=%2Bspeed+%2BbuildThanks: Co-auther: Obstortte for all his custom entities, scripting and showing me a thing or two about perfing.Resource: Springheel - new modulesReadables: nbhor1moreTesters: Bienie, Judith, Abusimplea, Cambridge Spy, Gerberox, MayheM, Amadeus, Goldwell, nbhor1more.Download: - mega Info: Repeat after me, "Read and explore, Read and explore"Known issues: This mission has been heavily tweaked and worked on to provide a playable experience for even low end machines. For very low end PC's please make use of the in-game LOD slider, as not only are details reduced, but the ambient_world fog is removed at the lowest setting. The medium difficulty is partially broken, the mission wont end when the player gets to the exit location. As this is the only issue with that difficulty level, I will fix this when I next update it to include the intro.
22. I will update this list as we go, re-arranging info based on severity - Ongoing privacy concerns The trade-offs between privacy and features is not a simple black-and-white decision, even Windows 8 has an “Advertising ID” that follows you around. Ars Technica revealed that, even with all of the Win10 security settings on Off, Win10 still sends some data to the Micro$oft Mothership. The simple fact is that Microsoft hasn’t told us what data it’s collecting. With the release of Windows 10, Micro$oft have stepped up there 'illegal' data capture of private user data - http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/17379-microoft-data-slurp-now-not-just-limited-to-win10/?hl=windows M$ is now via the latest update, monitoring how long your Win10 session's are and how long you use various apps - http://betanews.com/2016/01/04/why-is-microsoft-monitoring-how-long-you-use-windows-10. I tested on release and wasn't impressed. I found if I enabled (fairly modest) whitelist outbound blocking on my internet router, Win10's internet responsiveness would fall through the floor. All browsers would takes ages to resolve sites and the OS itself would actually become lumpy/laggy. Forced updates Not being able to control what gets installed on "MY PC", is a massive NO! NO! Patching remains Windows 10’s Achilles’ heel, all Windows 10 Home machines, and Windows 10 Pro machines that aren’t hiding behind an update server (such as WSUS or WUB) will get all patches applied according to Microsoft’s time scale. All three of the first Cumulative Update patches have had problems with reboot cycles. KB3081424 on Aug. 5, KB3081436 on Aug. 12, and KB3081438 on Aug. 14 all crashed a bunch of Windows 10 systems. The installer stops mid-installation, flashes an error message, rolls back, and reboots. Then you guessed it -- the forced installer kicks in and crashes Windows again. Rinse, lather, repeat. Getting out of the mess involves editing the registry. We haven’t yet seen how Micro$oft will recover from a really bad update, the experience to date with the three Cumulative Updates does not instil confidence. We don’t know if Microsoft will start documenting its patches again. We don’t know if much effort will be directed at fixing and improving the Microsoft-supplied Universal apps. Windows 10 installer takes a look at your system and based on the hardware and software it finds, assigns your request to a bucket of similar upgrade requests. The guys running the upgrade system, prioritize your request based on their assessment of how likely your system is to bomb out on an upgrade. Key apps, such as Mail and Edge, STILL aren’t ready yet Some of Windows 10’s key apps simply half baked. Mail has a nasty habit of putting notifications in the upper-left corner and leaving them hanging forever. There’s no combined Inbox, so if you have multiple accounts you have to jump from Inbox to Inbox. And it crashes hard -- for a lot of people. Edge, the new browser, similarly has all sorts of rough "edges". There are no extensions yet, thus no AdBlocker. Changing the search engine is tortuous, moving tabs onto the desktop and back again doesn’t work and you can’t pin tabs. In short use what ever mail/browser you wrere using on previous OS. Not much in the way of Universal apps Don't believe the marketing bollox about all of those wonderful Universal apps in Windows 10, whether it’s on a desktop, notebook, phone, Raspberry Pi, it ain't happening. The Windows Store is still by and large a wasteland, with crap apps galore. Win10’s Tablet Mode broken First, there’s the menu on the left that tucks away the entries on the left side of the Start menu. It collapses fine, but when it’s collapsed it rarely shows any more tiles than when it’s not collapsed. What’s the point, eh? Universal app windows have that pesky taskbar permanently tacked on the bottom, while the window bar at the top auto-hides. Edge, when running full screen, doesn’t support any of the old Metro IE swipe commands. You can’t swipe through running apps. The apps themselves? The irony is M$ Office on the iPad is better than M$ Office on Windows 10. OneDrive regression This concern applies only if you use OneDrive in Windows 8.1, and if you put a lot of stuff in OneDrive. For those of you using OneDrive in Windows 7 (and Windows 8), there’s no change in behavior with Win10. But if you’re accustomed to seeing all of your OneDrive files in Windows 8.1’s File Explorer, you’ll be in for a bit of a shock. Windows 10 makes you choose which OneDrive folders you want to be able to see in File Explorer. Once you’ve made that choice, the other folders aren’t accessible in File Explorer. The only way to see what files you have in OneDrive is by venturing to the OneDrive website. Missing Media Center and DVD player For those people that run Windows Media Center, its gone in Windows 10 PC. Instead Micro$oft wants you to use/buy an Xbox. Ain’t broke, don’t fix it The old adage comes from experience and it’s as applicable now as it ever was. If you’re using Windows 7/8/8.1, and it’s properly patched up and working for you, and you’ve stopped using Internet Explorer, you really have to consider whether it’s worth the effort to upgrade to Windows 10. Carefully consider whether the warning signs listed here. Still to many questions For example, when you upgrade a “genuine” Win7, Win8 or Win8.1 machine to Win10 and run the upgrade in place, Micro$oft records a hardware ID that says, “this machine has valid license” At that point, you can install either Win7 or Win10 on that machine, and your license will be validated. Its believed that the only version of Win10 that you can disable ALL telemetry and fully control Windows update in, is the enterprise version. Smells like Teen Spirit desperation Microsoft Marketing chief Chris Capossela explained that users who choose Windows 7 do so “at your own risk, at your own peril.” It is particularly myopic to rubbish one of your own products that way. Put simply Capossela is a complete cock, Windows 7 is no less secure than Windows 10 (it will be supported until 2020 and Windows 8.1 2023) and is no less compatible with new hardware and software. Also at the moment Win7 has a bigger market share, so easier work for developers. 23. Author Note: This is a brand new mission and a new entry into the accountant series. There are some different than usual puzzles in this FM, so if you find yourself stuck try to think about your pathway forward in a logical manner. And if you're still having troubles then pop by this thread and ask (preferably with spoiler tags). This FM is brand new and serves as the first installment in The Accountant series, a few years back there was a small prologue style mission released however I felt that it did not represent The Accountant series so I decided to go back to the drawing board and do a whole new mission that's larger, has a better level design and has a story that lines up closer to what I plan to do with the accountant series. The mission is medium sized and you can expect between 30-90 minutes to complete it depending on your playstyle. 24. UPDATE 26/6 ver 1.02 Fixed Bernhard's book Fixed some missing text in readables (Can you believe it's more?! ) Fixed black wall in barn, second floor. Tweaked some tension meter scripting. UPDATE 22/6 ver 1.01 Added popup message that tells the player that the maze isn't opened yet. Couldn't find the reason for the book bug so I've put this particular book in the world instead of adding to the inventory via a script... Hello! It's time for me to release my entry to the Seasons Contest, 2011. This map was built roughly between 1/4 - 19/6, A special thanks to my friend Ziggun and Ash that have helped me work out the story and write the readables. Also a thanks to my friend Henrik Swenson that has produced some of the sound effects. And also a big thank you to all team members and people developing this brilliant mod! And also a big thank you to the various guys and gals that helpt testing this mission and found some crashing bugs and helped me through the tempest Dear Sir I send you this letter as a request for aid in a delicate matter. My name is Oscar Powell, and I assure you that the rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated. I am, in fact, merely in hiding after the unfortunate incident that took the life of my father. You come highly recommended, and I trust in your complete discretion in what I am about to tell you. The incident that claimed my father and nearly myself was no accident - it was a clumpy attempt at an assassination. A band of pagan brutes assaulted the summer home, seeking to claim my life and that of my beloved father. And given the recent death of my beloved brother Bernhard, I now know where to point the accusing finger. My sister Alma, thrice-cursed be her name, must have hired them to rid herself of us. I have no doubts to her ambition to claim the family holdings, nor do I know her soul to contain any compassion. But the law is blind, they say, and I am but one man in hiding. But with proof I could challenge her and bring her to justice. Which is where you come in, as I am told you are without peer in bringing light to the ugliest of truths. So I ask of you to go the Powell summer home, where my beloved father and brother met their end, and find out the truth. With this letter you will find a ticket to the Powell hedge maze, which will give you an excellent chance to enter the estate. Use any means necessary and leave no stone unturned in this and you shall be richly rewarded when I am restored to my rightful place as owner of the Powell holdings. Yours humbly, Oscar Powell Important information! Because this is quite different mission from the rest, there are a few things to be aware of when playing. 1. You are in essence a thief, but has chosen the approach of a private eye. This mission has lot of emphasis on story and most of the story is told through readables. As with most missions, the mission is enjoyable without reading all readables and most of them can sometimes be skipped. But in order to get the full experience from this mission, I recommend the player to read all the readables. 2. This is a daylight mission and this means that you aren't directly cosidered a villain unless you show socially unacceptable behaviour such as stealing, walking in flower beds or going where you don't belong. (Note that on expert difficulty the mission begins with you breaking inside the main house and thus start in a high tension area). You will have a tension meter that goes up when you do something socially unacceptable. If anyone sees you during this state, the tension will go up on red and you will forever be considered a villain and will be chased. On expert difficulty this will result in instant failure. One another aspect on the daylight theme is that this mission is set on a farmland and to simulate these lands I have chosen a quite open map layout. This is contrary to all recommendations for the IdTech 4 engine and as a result, performace may be lacking in some places. I have tried my best to keep a good balance between good looking exterior parts versus good performance. 3. This shouldn't have to be something to point out, but I've got to known that some players have some issues against "violence-control" in missions. My personal gameplay puts lots of emphasis on stealth and sneaking. Therefore I consider detection a failure and almost never kill anyone besides animals/undead. Violence is sparse in this mission and you're not allowed to kill anyone (that doesn't pose any immediate threat to you) on any of the difficulties. KO:s are perfectly allright although limited. Enjoy! http://www.mindplace...tails.php?id=45 Not updated yet... http://www.MegaShare.com/3359042 ver 1.01 http://www.MegaShare.com/3368609 ver 1.02 Remember to use spoiler tags where appropriate! (This may fail and therefore I do not recommend anyone to read any further unless they've played the mission!)
25. Hey @CrustyCircuits Welcome to the forums! I'm really glad you like the mission, thank you for playing Since other players have answered, I'll just say that it is definitely not a bug! Also, so other players don't accidentally get spoiled would you mind editing your post so that it uses spoiler tags. Thanks, hope you enjoy the rest of it!
