What happened to that Baron of Hell model from Hell on Earth? It could be turned into some goat legged pagan monstrosity.
-
Well alright, I don't always say that, it would be a foolish statement to include in the vast majority of conversations, but it seems appropriate here.
That's genius.

The comment about her breasts was a joke, and wasn't meant to spark an argument over their proportions. I agree that video games could do with a few women without breasts the size of GM melons. It's just that her whole body looks rather small compared to her head, but because the shot shows only her torso upwards, and is set at a slight angle, it might look fine in game.

Some of the buttons won't show up unless you empty your cache. That happened to me too. Some of them just haven't been changed yet though. I've shifted my focus to the main website for the next day or so.
Ah yes it works now. Thanks.

Hm, I'm not seeing these new 'locks' at all, just the old blue tiles. Have they been uploaded yet? Am I not doing something I should have?
The boards look much improved overall Springheel. Good work!

Maybe the Hammerites could be bald because they're afraid of little pagan bugs getting on them. Having a fully shaved Builder order would make them quite distinctive and fearsome in my opinion. Yes, even the eyebrows. Ant the bikini zone.

I use the 'Invision Power Board' skin anyway. It's lighter, less contracted. If this new style is good I'll switch.
-
Her head looks a bit big, and her breasts droop lazily like bagged cats. But otherwise it's great.
-
Everything below the neck looks great. His face... well, he looks a little inbred, which is probably in keeping with the the period and his position in society.
-
Not that it is being done within the team but rather I am doing all the recording with my home studio setup and recruiting actors from the city and surrounding areas where I live.
So every character will have a Canadian accent? Wouldn't it be better to have some voice actors from Britain, since the game has a medieval setting? I'm fine with voice actors from the Americas, but an all star cast of voice actors from the same town who all have the same Prince Edward Island accent might seem a bit odd.
This is nothing against the beautiful Canadian accent. I'd feel the same way if you went down to the Llew Du and hired a cartload of Welsh choir singers.
Anyway, I don't want to hijack this thread. Best of luck with your application, Kingers.

Sounds great. I'm sure New Horizon or one of the other project leaders will cantact you shortly.

Bah, jack of all trades, master of none...

That's a really nice idea, but it would promote killing them. (Unless you had a no-kill objective)
The dead should stay dead, but you're only allowed to kill guards on easy anyway.
I don't think we'll need loading zones in a level unless we're planning to do something huge. But it'd nice to talk about the possibilities beyond the first campaign.
-
So that the player doesn't cheat by going into load zones to escape, we could make it so that every guard BJ'd in the area you've just left has regained consciousness by the time you revisit. This would totally rid the player of any advantage of going through load zones, encouraging him to do so only when his business in the zone he's in is fully complete.
-
Does Doom 3 save information from the last loadzone when you go into a new area? If I killed a man in loadzone A, and went to loadzone C, when I returned through loadzone B would that man still lay dead?

As I said, if you can come up with a good reason why the Thief used to be a noble that fits into the plot I'll include it. I'm not against our character having a long-winded back-story, as long as the player is told it for a good reason. We could always include it in the manual, anyway. As for our Thief's name, I've been calling him 'Picasso'. But he might as well remain unnamed.
-
He's an ex-noble who probably had a two or three word name
Not really.
-
So this thief is our Thief? Will the model also be used for other thieves found in the game?
-
I can see it clearly enough. It's brilliant.

According to Christopher Lee, stabbing someone in the back means they won't yell out 'cause all the wind has been forced out of them. He stabbed people in the back during the war, presumably.

I´m also at the Hammerite Imperium team, but my artworks are mostly useless there (but that doesn´t mean I want to leave, there´s enough other work).
Useless? They're great!
But since this project is still in it's early stages, there is more room for creativeness...

Excellent, inspiring work.
I liked the wide brimmed hats of the early concept art though.

Interestingly (for those in the know), Springheel Jack is also a mythological creature that walks around in a hat and trenchcoat, with fiery eyes, who can leap over walls and do jedi mind tricks. Sound familiar?
I was reading about Springheel Jack today. "His face was hideous and his eyes were like balls of fire. His hands had great claws and he vomited blue and white flames."
The name fits you perfectly Springheel.

It used to be 'New Tales in an Old City', but because the new background isn't a cityscape that would not really have fit. How about 'New Tales from an Old Corridor?'
I quite like 'Stories From the Shadows'. It took many a monkey with many a typewriter to come up with it, so be grateful!
