  1. I was just reading through some of these posts and i thought something, are guards always going to be noticing missing loot? If you go into a room with say 10 golden plates sitting on a shelf and you only take 3 or 4 of them are the guards going to automaticly notice this or only have a small chance to?

     

    Also would most likely underpaid, undereducated guards really notice a couple missing minor items in the middle of the night while there wandering around dark halls for hours on end.

     

    (sorry if my post makes no sence im quite sick right now and i suspect no one is going to know what im talking about)

  2. I don't get why halo is such a loved game, its a pretty standard fps with decent AI and a neat vehicle thing but other than that i fail to see why it has such a incredible reputation. The only fun i ever got out of it was running people over with the car in death match while they screamed what a huge noob i was, which was accualy pretty fun :P

  3. Lets say you stole a guards key and he didnt notice, you lure them into the room they where guarding by makeing some sound, then bam you close the door behind them and lock it leaveing them trapped in the room.

    Im wondering if you have thought about how a guard is going to respond a situation like that at all, will they walk into the door and try to go back to there post, or will they yell for help and hope another guard with the key will come let them out?

     

    Also a major flaw with locks in T1/2 was the fact that if you stole a guards key they could still open the door the key was for. Im sure you guys are going to not make a silly little mistake like that but i just wanna be sure :)

  4. Whats the plan for what guards will do with dead or unconscious bodys? It seems pretty unrealistic for them to just leave a unconsious body on the floor where they found it, maybe move it to a bed or something?

  5. I was just wondering if you are going to make blackjacking opponents more like in thief 1/2 where you could KO them reguardless of there alert level as long as you could sneak up and get them in the back of the head, or more like DS where once they where looking for you they become unKOable and unBackstabbable?

    Id much perfer it to be T 1/2 style. Also im hopeing you guys make it so you gotta get em in the back of the head none of that in the butt or in the shoulder shinanigis from said games.

  6. Do you guys have any plan to include any sort of multiplayer support to the dark mod? I'm sorry if you have said anything about this before but iv always dreamed of a game like thief, though i know this mod is COMPLETELY different, but with coop so i could take on the missions with a friend.

  7. Oh man, you guys have got to be kidding that trailer was awful! I sat there the whole time thinking holy shit they better show me at least like 5 seconds of footage and not the same damn pictures over and over but i was disapointed =/

     

    And the music sucked too <_<

  8. Hey there, after playing splinter cell 3 one really cool feature i noticed was the sound you made could be masked by the environment. Example-You walk into a loud workshop with machines going, the AI has a real hard time hearing you unless you start shooting or throwing gernades. Now i was wondering if you guys where doing something like this for the dark mod or if its even possible?

     

    And great work so far! Im really looking forward to this!
