  1. I got a chance to play this the last couple of days, so congrats on the mission. For the most part I enjoyed it and it turned out much bigger than I thought at first but after much searching (going through most area's twice, some more) for all the loot, I have to give up. :(

    Spoiler

I'm one who searches high & low for all the loot and once I know there are secrets I dig a little deeper and found them all. I  have found all but 20 in loot. I had difficulty getting the loot bag between the kegs in the kitchen to highlight and ended up no clipping to reach it.

So after giving up, I used show loot and they are located in a desk in the sleeping girls room (Ingleby house) I did find a stack of coins there originally but only one so the other two, I think have fallen into the desk. They aren't visible and can only be gotten using no clip.

Your story has left me curious and wanting more :) Thanks for all your hard work, looking forward to the 2nd installment.

  2. Finished this up just before Christmas and am just getting a chance now to make a quick note. This was massive Wow! :) but I did enjoy it.

    Spoiler

Loved all the puzzles and had no difficulty solving, just had some trouble finding where I had to go next. And that was more because of size, I felt like I was missing something. So once I just went with it things started to make sense. I have to confess, though, I did check here a couple of times (for things such as the explosive devise). I came to realize that the key was to explore, explore, explore. Oh, and thank you for leaving the many fire arrows and not having their use cause a failure of the mission. :)

Thanks for all your hard work and look forward to more.

  3. Congrats on the release of your first mission, finished it up yesterday.

    Spoiler

This was a bit tricky with all the guards and the lanterns but once I figured out their patrol pattern it got a bit easier. I had difficulty seeing some of the keys at first especially the one on the floor in the top office, ran right over it a few times before spotting it. And took me a few min. to notice the key for the generator but I think this was because I wasn't playing my usual way so was back and forth hiding a lot. lol And thanks for leaving one room that wasn't checked - needed a stash spot. I'm glad for the readable in the front office as I hadn't even noticed you could get up there. Managed to find everything so that was good.

Thanks for all your hard work.

  4. First of all, congrats on the release of this mission. Have to say I really enjoyed the hunt. (Okay - a couple of times my head was going in circles lol, but more my fault than anything) lol I really love the added objectives and secrets - really extends the mission for me.

    Spoiler

I found the atmosphere was great with just the right lighting. Your past and current version of the Clifton house was well done. The clues were good - got me to the area I needed to be and liked that there was many ways to different areas. Some of your secrets were trying their hardest to hide, but found them all (eventually). I almost missed the other paintings but noticed the Addison note changed, so went and checked if anything else had and the rest was history.

I have to ask though, in the kitchen of the Clifton house in the past, there are two extra switches on the wall - what do they do? I tried searching in vain for something they activated but couldn't find anything. I noticed in current version of the house they aren't there. Just wondering.

Thanks again for all your hard work and I look forward to more from you.

Thanks for your feedback, glad you enjoyed it! It certainly was a labor of love to finish making the mission and the series. I was a bit afraid that that would happen to some players, i.e. finishing all main objectives and then going about finding the secrets. Unfortunately the only way around this at this time is to noclip through the city gate and go forward a few meters and then go straight down. this way you do not hit the exit box before you are able to grab the spinning coin.

I'm not sure what I can do about this, aside from maybe making it not a secret, and not loot. I will think about it, the scene works without loot as well, could just be an easter egg I suppose.

Thanks, I'm not sure either. I ended up going back and noclipping so I could have a "completed" mission. lol

Also, I see your edit and thanks for that. I thought it was just me not remembering how spoilers were done otherwise I would have gone into a bit more detail. It really was a great mission. :)

  6. First off, congrats on the mission. I was really enjoying this one. I love the side quests as well as scouring for all the secrets. And I took on 3 or the 4 challenges. As mentioned, the windows were a bit of a challenge but no big deal. I liked the multiple ways to get around. I can tell this was a lot of hard work and I appreciate it, thank you.

That being said, I have to say I was quite disappointed on the location of one of your secrets. After spending almost an hour (after finding everything else) searching every where again and again, I gave up to come and have a look here.  I was disappointed to find that the last secret was in the sewer and I couldn't get it. Which meant 2 of the side challenges (Greed & Completionist) as well as the all secrets wouldn't check off.

  7. Just finished this up the other day and enjoyed it quite a bit.

    Spoiler

I really liked the puzzles and ending up helping the community. I too was having hat troubles lol but also the ink bottles didn't highlight when I first checked the desk. Came here for some help and got back on track. Thank you for leaving the fire arrows and I'm glad I didn't have to use them for thawing pipes as it would of been an easy choice. Spiders will die! lol

Thanks for all your hard work. This was really a lot bigger than I thought it would be with lots of places to explore.

  8. Finished this up yesterday and very spooky atmosphere.

    Spoiler

I kept expecting a spider in a few rooms so was very happy to find none but kept me on my toes. lol As well as dodging the local resident. I found all the secrets and even Penny. When I saw she was frobable I figured I better take her.  I saw the ropes in the attic which put my spidey sense on high alert and managed to avoid your traps - nice touch.  I have to say though, the voice acting was good however I struggled to hear what was being said - no fancy speakers here lol. Fortunately for me, I had a save right before she appeared so was able to quickly go back and crank my speakers lol

Thanks for all your hard work and look forward to more.

  9. Just finished this up and really enjoyed it.

    Spoiler

Took me a long time to make it to the ship as there were so many wonderful places to explore lol. Each area was well done with a look and feel of reality back in the day.  I'm not sure about what the door hanging off the hinge above the shopkeeper led to but I seemed to get everything so maybe just atmosphere? The only negative I found was some of the lanterns seem to give off too bright of a glow but a quick shot with a water arrow took care of that.

Thanks for all your hard work and I look forward to more. :)

  10. Finished this up last night and enjoyed it for the most part.

    Spoiler

I was a bit lost after going through most of the house except upper floor and not finding a code for the upper door (nor a key to the telescope room lol) I had to come here for some help. My bad I should of looked left when I looked out that window - oops. And I must say, my arachnophobe self took great pleasure in disposing of the spiders in the basement once I got passed freaking out cause my arrows wouldn't kill them. Very clever! lol. One other thing, I wish you had named Gilbert instead of "body". By the time I got to that point I couldn't remember what the person I was looking for looked like lol - again my bad :)

Thanks again for all your hard work and look forward to more.

  11. Just finished this up, thanks for all your hard work and I look forward to more.

    Spoiler

I found 5 out of 6 secrets and read here where the missing one was after. I liked the secret door in the green room, I had been wondering how to get behind that door. The cabinet was a bit tricky as it took me awhile to figure out that you could get behind it. I knew it was there for a reason. lol I struggled with figuring out the trick to enter the mausoleum, even with the hints at the beginning. The panels all looked the same so I just ended up pushing them randomly and eventually it opened. The part of the key was also hard to find and I ended up looking at your hints. I also was surprised to see everyone up and about including those that had been sleeping when I came back from beyond lol. I too had forgotten the heart, that was some frustration on my part as I'd made it to the gate and yet couldn't leave.

    Anyways, thanks again :)

  12. First of all, congrats on the release of your mission, it looks awesome with a very spooky atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoy solving puzzles and looked forward to the challange. However, unfortunately, I am unable to continue due to a personal phobia. I really tried, but just can't do it at this time, will probably try again another day. Just wanted you to know it looks like a great mission. Thank you for all your hard work. :)

  13. Finished this up last night and enjoyed all your hard work. :) Even taking forever on finding secret #6 lol. I had to finally accept defeat and come looking here. It really became one of those "Doh" moments when I realized it was hiding just about in plain sight. lol

I did have some concern for

the city watch fella and his bladder issue, however not as much as the recipient of said problem - wanted to yell "hey dude, wake up!" LOL!

Anyways, I loved the many areas we were allowed to explore. Two questions though.

1- What was the doll for? (Thought that had to do with the 6th secret - like I'd missed a readable about some little girls long lost doll). 2 - In the tunnel there's a clear wall with a rotating disc??? Oh wait, never mind. I'll keep myself in suspense in case they are for future work. :)

Thanks again for all your hard work, and look forward to more.

  14. Congrats on your release! Finished this up last night and really enjoyed exploring everywhere. (Got to a few places I don't think I was suppose to, but oh well - had a nice view. :)

Enjoyed the crows nest hunt - challenge was on when I found the first - and so then I found them all. I do enjoy hidden challenges. I had some difficulty in the office. I swear I looked under the desk a half dozen times before I noticed the switch. I seemed to find things after I'd already been over the spot thoroughly - example: loot bag on top of the spy's wardrobe, coins in the outside drinking area. I'm not sure if they didn't highlight for me or I just didn't see them the first time. I'm going with the latter, as I just got a new monitor and still trying to figure out the adjustment for it.

While this took me a while to complete as I found myself going over things again to make sure I found all the loot, I enjoyed it. Thanks for all your hard work and look forward to more. :)

  15. Thank you for the lovely Christmas mission, I enjoyed it :)

I liked the hidden objectives as well as the secret loot. Was pleasantly surprised that no one attacked me in the pub, especially when I'd just been slashed by the guard out front. lol I found all the loot, all secrets as well as completed the hidden objectives. I did have trouble figuring out one and had to come here for a hint.

I tried to give the homeless man the journal, since it went into inventory- so he would know about the help available to him. When that didn't work, I had to come here. I saw the bread highlight, however ignored it as that often happens in missions.

I also didn't go to the meeting right away, so I thought I'd fail the mission when he said don't rob anyone that you're leaving the gifts for as I'd already made my way through the town and the residents were now having a long winters nap. lol Fortunately the written instructions for delivering said gifts didn't say that and I continued on my appointed rounds. :)

I liked your theme, Christmas trees and the music boxes. Put me in the spirit for sure.

Thank you for all your hard work and look forward to more missions from you.

  16. Finished this up on the weekend and really enjoyed it (replayed the whole series just because).

The sneaking was good in this one. I liked discovering the "over the top" pathways to avoid bright spots and unexpected people. Nice tribute by the way. I discovered the canal wasn't toxic when I fell in lol, which made accessing some areas a little easier.

All in all a great mission. I look forward to the next installment. Thanks for all your hard work.

  17. Congrats on your first mission! Played it on the weekend and enjoyed it.

Your clues were good so just the right difficulty for finding things. I like when objectives are added as you play along.

I only had one issue. When I picked up the second potion, I had an overlap of text with the loot totals covering my inventory in the bottom right corner. Haven't seen anyone else mention it so not sure what happened but made it difficult to see what I had. See attached pic. I took it towards end of mission as I almost forgot.post-3777-0-93844800-1537199582_thumb.jpg

Thanks for all your hard work and I look forward to more.

  18. I know I'm late to the party, lol, but finally got a chance to play this. First off, Congratulations to Bikerdude and the creators of this awesome mission. :) I've heard about it for a long time and finally, finally got to enjoy it.

This was huge, but loved searching out all the pathways - high and low. The readables were good for clues as well as entertaining. Don't think it was possible (because I looked everywhere) to get to the other side of the map (passed Shingle Plaza), am I wrong?

I really only had a few issues. Plates in a box, jewels in drawer, etc. didn't want to frob the first time. Had to close and reopen and then they did. I was trying to do the objective regarding following Lazanova. The first time she came in the room, I was caught off guard so I reloaded a previous save. And then I waited and waited and waited. I went searching upstairs and after searching the other rooms, I found her in the library just spinning. I think, she was caught on a book on the floor? just inside the door. I couldn't get her key so I had to knock her out. I also had difficulty getting the book to highlight on the shelf for the secret spot. I knew there had to be something to open as I saw the slide marks on the floor but took a long time.

All in all, it was well worth the wait. Looking forward to the rest of them. Thanks for everyone's hard work :)
