Hi, I'm just posting this here because I've spent a few hours trying to find a solution and only some Linux users had this problem from an unrelated source. TDM would not play any sound at all until i changed the sound quality from "DVD quality" to "CD Quality" in my headphone's properties. I can't find anyone suggesting this fix anywhere else either so hopefully this helps someone

It does occasionally mute anyway, mid mission. still, i'm able to play long enough to complete the first default mission.
