  2. Yep I can see me doing aal the engine stuff from skratch... thanks but no. Unity works- thats good enough and has huge community. Found free pathfinding toolset today! Making a multitouch camera controller half from examples half from reference and I never did a line of c#. For every thing one might need someone did and left a forum thead. So I hope this will be fast.

    Btw there new engine coming - Anarchy Havok, supposedly better.

    Played wshr today on ps emulator - controls are main downside.graphics still Good.

Edit: actually I played rip months ago and did found out that AI is kinda lousy-stright-a-go type, and what seemed as hellish hardcore challenge was in fact a result of dull strightforwardness of enemy units hehe. . . So what!? It's even easier that way! Join before I finish this baby all by myself and make tons of googlewallet money!

  4. Just curious if anybody have seen this hardcore masterpiece in the time of Win95. Twas so cool at the time or seemed so. Followed by Enslaved on stereo twas a blast.

    Point is it's time to make a remake ow yeah! On unity. For android. Shadow of the hammer or something like that. So if you an artist or you know unity fell free to join!

    Fair enough. But the people here are already putting in work and money isn't going to get things done faster unless you bring in freelance artists/coders or prop an existing team member up so they can work on TDM full time. How much of a financial contribution are we talking about here?

     

    I'll start. I am a hobbyist modeler, and texture artist. I've also done a small amount of programming but I'm not very confident in my abilities there. I have not gone to school for any of this. I am completely self taught. I would be willing to quit my job for about $1500 a month but I'd need to receive at least a years worth to feel secure enough to go through with it. Anyone else?

    Yeah..yeears of $1500..i like that. Count me in, please.

    It is absolutely hideous... The stuff on nightmares...

     

    But I made it with blender. And it contains two material textures in a single .ase. And I got it into DR and in game. And it seems to work. And it is ingame and exactly the size I wanted it to be.

     

    Progress. Now I have re-learned something I knew how to do few years ago. ;) (The workflow how to get blender created models into TDM.)

    Great! Can u by chance outline basic steps for that?

  7. My experiments with one camera homemade mocap were failure. What I managed to do was that I created a rig in Blender for proguard. That rig steers the imported MD5 rig. All animation I did recently were done manually.

    Arcturus did u try kinect? One need two of them set on different angles for best results
