  1. Ah Overlord, I gotta check that one out now that I have a good computer to run it :). As for STALKER, it grows on you. There are many annoying bugs though that have not been fixed. Like one time I threw a grenade in a room and blew up the body I was supposed to search for the main quest.

If you do revisit stalker, make sure to have two backup saves. One with 30 minute behind your current position and another with 1 hour. Also don't throw grenades if you make it to the X 16 lab final room upstairs. That way you don't blow up what you're supposed to search, lol.

STALKER is quite creepy too. It's not that scary since I know it's just a game but sometimes stuff makes you jump. The Dynamic lightning is pretty cool but it lags the npc re spawns so I set it back to static lightning. If you wanna check out the dynamic lightning but are having the graphical glitch go to your Nvidia control panel.

From there disable anti aliasing as a global setting. That should fix the Nvidia graphical glitch. Also a variety of patches for Stalker are now available addressing more issues.

  2. Ooooh yeah and you thought I was gone for good! Well perhaps this little break did me some good! If you haven't downloaded it yet then wait no further. This mod is a barrel full of laughs, literally.

I especially love waiting for my special to be charged to blow up the enemy with my blunder buss. If you wanna laugh your ass off then download this mod.

    Free games rule!

I'm also playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (about 12$ on Ebay) and Company of Heroes. I heard Sins of the Solar Empire a x4 RTS game is making great strides. It's becoming popular and the first review gave it 90%. Gotta love how the PC platform is getting back to back high quality titles.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot also was confirmed in a German interview to be coming to the PC after the Xbox 360 and PS 3 versions. Possible bonus content as well and multiplayer for all platforms.

  3. I have no problem with football itself, but the level of commercialization and irrelevant nationalism (these two often come hand in hand) that follow make me sick to my stomach. I really can't sit through it all without becoming utterly depressed.

For me football is about the game itself. Not the money, not the hype, rather the plays and the players. Many people that play the game will tell you they'd give up anything to earn a super bowl ring. That is something money can't buy. It's about fulfilling a life long dream really to be able to play in the NFL.

  4. Instead of going down to a certain level of idiocy I'll just explain my position.

Football takes a lot of skill, hard work, dedication, and studying. The players have classroom, film, and hundreds if not thousands of plays they memorize in their minds. It takes the level of dedication needed to work in the video game industry and perhaps even more.

There's a reason why this win was so important. The majority of the people watching it always thought The Giants had no chance etc but they kept proving everyone wrong. It was the classic battle of David vs Goliath. Of the kid standing up to the bully in the school yard and punching him in the mouth.

The best part about it is that The New York Giants redeemed every other team that was crushed by The Patriots this season. The Patriots ran the score up when they clearly had the win in the bag. They elected to not rest their players and go for the perfect season while crushing every other teams hope.

They played dirty, were caught cheating, and I believe GOD came in and punished them harshly for their sins. Yesterday was the best day in professional Football (American) history. A day where mere mortals where transported into legends. For everyone out there who never believed in miracles they can't say they don't exist.

Just watch this play for yourself and you will understand. :

What the New York Giants have done is stop Goliath. They will go down as legends and will be remembered for a long time to come. Long live The 2007-08 New York Football Giants. Heroes and Legends of the game who beat the undefeated.

Here's a great song explaining everything.

  5. From the first game they cheated on this season to all the other accusations The Patriots have faced. One team showed at the end of the season they had what it took.

Going from a wild card to no one believing in them (except true fans like myself), winning all their playoff games on the road and then onto the Superbowl Championship. There is one team that remained standing to face the odds. The majority were against them but they managed to hold The Patriots and win the world championship.

Tonight, evil has been defeated and good has prevailed. It just goes to show that cheating will come back to get you Bill Bellichick. Today we are champions.

If none of you saw the game you should definately see the replay. There were some moments that were nothing short of Divine Intervention. It was the best Superbowl i've ever seen in my life.

  6. Vista is one of the problems since it alone racks up the system requirements. I run Vista fine though but I would prefer Xp with DX 10 since it's faster. Stupid Micro$hit.

Anyway here are the official system requirements. I suggest you put your system is a nuclear proof bunker for this one. Reason being your pc is about to get nuked just by reading what i'm about to post.

The list of minimum system requirements is as follows:

    Supprts windows xp/vista (only)

In order to play this game properly, your PC MUST meet or exceed these minimum requirements:

Supported OS: Windows XP / Vista (only)

Processor: Dual core processor 2.6 GHz Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ or better recommended)

RAM: 2 GB (3 GB recommended)

Video Card: 256 MB DirectX 10.0–compliant video card or DirectX 9.0–compliant card with Shader Model 3.0 or higher (512 MB video card recommended) (see supported list)*

Sound Card: DirectX 9.0 or 10.0 compliant sound card (5.1 sound card recommended)

DirectX Version: DirectX 10.0 libraries (included on disc)

    DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive

    Hard Drive Space: 12 GB

Peripherals Supported: Keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows recommended)

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:

    ATI RADEON X1300-1950 / HD 2000 / 3000 series

    NVIDIA GeForce 6600-6800 / 7 / 8 / 9 series

Laptop versions of these cards may work but are NOT supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

NOTICE: This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict with some disc and virtual drives.

    altair.jpg

    Altair says, get owned.

I won't get owned, the system I built is more than capable of handling Altair.

  7. Petition online.com shut down my petition cuz I didn't put my full name, even after I fixed it. They also have no support so forget about it. I think we'll get a port eventually. Assasin's Creed is coming to PC but the requirements are even higher than Crysis.

  8. Are there any applicable laws in the U.S.? Sounds like a huge laundering of money that the F.B.I. and perhaps international authorities will be happy to help.

Dam those who exploit those loop holes eh. I'm gonna talk to a friend and let you know what I find.

  9. Well Condemned at it's core is a story about a guy who's trying to survive. An FBI agent to be exact or now ex FBI agent. He discovers that some sort of poison filtered into the food or some other way water was causing the population to go insane and tons of homeless to arise.

Then in the bathroom scene at the end he turns his face into some what of an alien type face. More of this points that he is not from planet Earth. A movie is going to follow if i'm not mistaken called Project X or something like that. (google it)

Also remember that they only had like 6-9months to actually work on the game. It was rushed for the Xbox 360 launch just like the console was launch. That explains why it was how it was. It was still quite good in my book.

Just wait till you get your hands on Part 2. They had a much more larger team, more money, and more time. You will say to yourself that this is how the first game should of been.

This time I did my research, instead of going on hype like Kane and Lynch which bombed horribly. It also caused Jeff G to be fired from Gamespot which now has lost credibility. Also Eidos has taken some back lash.

  10. Yea but the U.S. has laws against this. It's not going to be the 1st time Microsoft goes to court neither. They also want the HD-DVD/Blur-Ray war to fail so they can monopolize the downloads. That's not going to happen because NPD just released some data where Blu-Ray bitch slapped HD-DVD since Warner went with Blue Ray.

They never stop really. It all goes back to Bill Gates too. That fucker wants to win so bad he will do anything to get it not caring about who or what he hurts. I won't be surprised if he's hit by the biggest Karma truck the planet has ever seen. LOL

So what type of business are you in? I've dealt with people from Texas. There can be all kinds of people but unfortunately you're stuck with the bad. I do have contacts in various business here in Florida. Talking people high up so just interested in knowing what your business is about :D.
