You really need to make the whole thing a lot darker .
Are you going to replace some of the lower resolution textures? Some textures are really beautiful, but others damn hurt my eyes
. Even without Compressing..
You could ask John P to contribute some of his High Res Textures. He also made textures for T2X and the wonderful alternate T3 textures.
And btw.: A huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in this for making this awesome mod!

Somehow I've got some Performance-Problems. Had to play it on 800x600, even Doom3 itself runs more fluently.
And Some of the textures looked like 10 years old
But overall very nice Preview. Keep on the good work!

Problem solved. There still were Drivers of a much older video-card on my PC. Doom seems to be pretty damageable when it comes to drivers.

Compability mode for xp is pretty much nonsense, as I already have Windows XP Thank you anyway.

I already read a lot of threads about this, and that's why I re-installed my video card drivers. Doesn't work. Re-installed Doom 3, still doesn't work. Doesn't Doom3 work with my video card?

This is the lol of the week.
I guess the only difference is that the "german version" is very probably crippled. (I never understood why they cripple a 18+ version, but don't ask me. I don't understand many things under about the crazy germansAh, i think that's ok with me. Maybe i'll get the english Version somewhere anyway.

And there is really no time to make a translation for this release. Even for the next release a translation is unlikely, as were also currently have things in non-text form (like some buttons) and this needs code-changes before anyone else could translate stuff.
And there is really no need for a translation. Nearly everyone in Germany understands English (even though we're not so skilled in talking/writing, as you might see ).

The floor stones look awesome, the dirt and the wood are ok, but the wall.. I don't know, it just don't fit. It looks blured, and somehow like it's taken from t2.
This is not the only one, but i don't want to be the moaner. Maybe we just disagree of how a modern game should look. Don't get me wrog, i still love the job you all do here.
