PLEASE!! PLEASE!!! Keep the opposition human. I hated monsters etc in thief. A real thief in these times would never encounter such things, even though ppl believed in it, but please... no monsters... I much prefer a human opponent..
That would be up to the mission designer. If you are asking about our campaign which will be released after the toolset, then we are doing it the Thief way, that is, a mix between humans/monsters. Sorry.

About the OpenGL thing: Too much work, too little time. I gave up on it a long time ago
I think using a premade engine and modding it is much much better (especially now that we actually have something like doom3 with real-time lighting and great flexibility!)

Heh, yeah, I always thought it seemed a little crazy to develop an entire thief game with perl. A pretty monumental task.

I still think there should be a small section somewhere where you go up against them. Should make for very interesting gameplay.

Why did you place moss and gravel under "floor"? Shouldn't they be under you know, nature/garden or something like that? Also, shouldn't all folder names be lower-case?
Also, for some reason, CVS wont download them. I got the email and all, but the new folder doesn't show up.
Edit - Seems like I got the material file (materials/floor.mtr), but not the textures. Even weirdier.

Bah, couldn't find it. But since Doom 3 plays at fairly low resolutions I guess it's not that big a deal.

I see you used the same template I posted in the other thread and resized it. It looks a bit blurry right now because of that. I'm pretty sure I have a high-res version lying around which you could use.
Otherwise it's lookin good!

The blackjack looks fine, it's just a little too big. The animation looks pretty stiff in my opinion. The arm seems very straight and just goes up and then down. (Like it did in the thief games, I know, but at least the arm bent somewhat there, right?).

Japp, svensk jag också. Och nej då, norska är ganska enkelt att fatta. I alla fall om man jämför med danska. Hehe.
Så du ska över för att handla billigt säger du.. Vart åker du då? Bor du redigt långt norrut eller? (Själv bor jag på södra svenska västkusten, i Varberg närmare bestämt)
