This might be obvious to some people, but I'm still a noob and my TDM behavior was annoying me. Running LInux Mint 17 and following the wiki to install TDM yields a few errors after you enter "chmod +x tdm_update.linux" in terminal you can install tdm with "sudo ./tdm_update.linux (not mentioned in wiki but might be something new users don't know) here's the part that threw me off. The training mission + Saint Lucia was invisible after the download was completed TDM was also having some weird behaviors with some missions not installing causing CTD The solution I found was that the permissions in the files + subfolders of main darkmod folder was not the same Some items was under root privileges meaning you can't erase/modify it without being a superuser After modifying all the user/group/permissions TDM was happy again. Hope this helps someone.

Awww i was hoping mark of the ninja was 3d That goemon mission sounds interesting. There was a movie based on goemon that i saw although it was more fantasy based. Do you need any help with that fm? Although im not sure how much help I can offer since I'm still learning DarkRadiant by going through A to Z guide and trying to get TDM to compile on my linux pc. Adding ninja elements to TDM is a personal project that I'm slowly working towards even though I have no background in game development.

This would make some fan missions impossible to accomplish without getting spotted based on how theyre designed But I hear ya. Sometimes im standing in a shadow thats in the middle of a bright hallway thinking this can't be right.

Hi, I'm a new fan of the dark mod. Been getting my feet wet into C programming as an embedded programmer for an internship and hopefully will contribute as a coder in the near future. I never played the original thief, but been a huge fan of tenchu series back in the days. I also loved the "new tenchu series" called shinobido made by acquire after the original series changed ownership to fromsoftware. These japanese ninja games had terrible storyline and laughable english dub. However, the AI was amazing. each playthrough was different. The sheer amount of ninja equipments was equally impressive - shurikens, caltrops, poison rice, smoke bomb, etc. Anyways great job with the accomplishments of the dark mod. I especially love the AI. It feels like tenchu all over again minus all the assassinations and bloodshed.

Sorry I just fixed it. Downloading crystal grave also seems to crash. Sometimes when I'm downloading multiple missions. It would just hang and freeze at some percentage... I just finished a few missions and they seem to work fine...

I also tried playing the fan mission "The Gatehouse" and I also get a crash to desktop... what is going on... I noticed something about my VRAM being only 64MB when my video card is actually 2GB. I'm using Catalyst Driver 14.9 if that sheds light on this issue.

Hi I just recently installed the darkmod onto Linux Mint 17 KDE. The TDM folder is titled "darkmod" and its placed in my home folder. Its updated to the latest version 2.02 My system specs are: CPU: i5-4670K GPU: ATI 7870 SSD: Kingston HyperX 120GB RAM: 2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance OS: Linux Mint 17 KDE 64 bit I was downloading multiple missions when the crash occurred. It happens everytime I download missions. Want to know if anybody can shed some light onto why this issue is happening and if there's a fix.
