Thanks Spooks ! I have to say that this mission goes down now as one of my all time favorites.
What a map! So many areas I wanted to look into further , obviously great scope for expansion in the future.
I think my
main problem with locating the diamond was that I'd reached the attic easily before , went to unlock the chest and couldn't. I guess I was at the wrong angle with the lock picks if you see what I mean. I then left the house assuming I needed a special key and promptly forgot the chest!
I then stirred up the hammerite it seemed impossible to kill who spooked the rest of the AI 'S in the area of the inn. Still , it did make me explore the rest of the map in some detail looking for the elusive diamond! !Loved the note saying
I'd strayed out of bounds in the area beyond King's house !
I've rated it excellent in each part , loved it!

Ha ! Thanks , that should do it .Thought I'd given that area a good go over , obviously not!?
-
Oldjim ,presumably that's the landlord of the inn? Trouble is , all the AI'have scattered to the far corners of the map because of something I did (!)

Thanks Oldjim !

Can someone post a clue as to the whereabouts of the diamond? I've been having so much fun wandering around this lovely map but am missing the obvious finding it I guess.
Wow , what a mission , so many nooks and crannies to explore.

Pressed the wrong button to quote Blenie's post , apologies !
Meant to say agree with all of that , and as an older player found it difficult because of that and subseauently gave up. I was enjoying it until the ghost got involved , never did find the secret ways. I won't rate it for that reason. Thanks though for making it Grayman.

Really great mission! It's beautifully constructed and dripping of atmosphere. There was a palpable sense of dread through the whole mission. The only thing I thought could have been done differently was
the ghost that was homing on to you and chasing you through walls. The only way to get away was to go in to the secret rooms, which were far too hard to find imo. I kept having to kite the ghost in to the cemetery and then run into the house again and search like a maniac before the ghost caught back up with me and then redo the process. Not optimal conditions to look for a tiny key hole, though I appreciate the severe danger that the ghost provided. An enemy that can't be killed, hid from or lost, only outrun. It's a nice concept, but if you have to keep running you shouldn't have to also do such complicated tasks
Still, a solid 4/5 from me!

The only objective I can't get is loot at the Inventors' Guild HQ can some one give me a clue?
Thought it might even be the specs on the inventor's nose!
-
Fun but pretty basic , and if I can say that pathetic thief that I am.......
Anyhow thank you !
-
Thought the opening sequence was excellent!

This was very different and very original and I'm marking it accordingly. Thank you for some fun , albeit easy ( even for me ! )
Just one small glitch ,
one headless man inside the house was marching on the spot!
It didn't matter much though as they were easy to avoid anyway. -
Thanks Sotha , nice taut little mission. All I can say is
poor Emily.
. Killed the Lord early on , just as well.

Just finished , my first mission for quite a while. Many thanks Melan , very enjoyable , ( and for the little hint too. )
I half expected
Uncle to change into a zombie at the end as I gathered up the remaining loot but.....
Flash bombs were useless , were they supposed to work? And does anyone ever have any success with mines , I never seem to. Certainly an item you could exclude from your equipment pack , maybe pack a fire arrow instead!

Many thanks !!

Thanks for any help. p.s Melan thanks for clue. Annoyingly , I was there earlier and didn't follow it through but all well now.

I found the key
on the roof.
, but could someone give me a clue as to the whereabouts of the second which presumably
opens the far church door.
Thanks!

Great stuff Biker and Co , can't wait!

Should have said , enjoyed it after a bit of initial frustration ( my own stupidity to blame here! ) , thank you very much.

Very enjoyable , thank you!

I avoided the monster blocking the
stairs by using noise arrows. I did have the good sense ( for me anyway! ) to put out all the candles around that area before pinching the chalice. )
Unfortunately , I had to replay the ending twice as the vibration caused by the beast caused DM to freeze for some reason.

I've missed the whole point of this mission seemingly , as try as I might the whereabouts of the blinking chalice has alluded me.Oh well , maybe getting too old now , time to hang up my thief gear at last.

Super mission , really enjoying it.
Can someone give me a hint please.
I found the note about the switches and activated two of them. Regarding the one in the bath house however all I can find is a frobable lion's head when I duck under the water. Is the switch behind there and if so , do I need to find a key as lock picks won't frob it.
Thanks!
