    Hi guys, just wanted to let everyone know I bought a brand new gaming pc, so now I can beta test without anymore problems :)

    I'm gonna go play long awaited Lucy now :)

  8. 5 Ghz or more?

    Hi guys, I'm glad I didn't get a new PC yet. My old nVidia had 3.88Ghz or something I think. Don't remember. It was always the RAM that was important before.

    So an FM that craves 5 Ghz or more? What processor is that now? Had the i5 in my xfx machine. 

    What's the best, but not most expensive machine to get for these newer FM's? I like building them myself, but I'm not spending 6K again. Not with todays technology!

    Any suggestions? Mom's HP laptop works with smaller games (20 or less Mbs) with TDM with the 2.10 & Win 10, but even the Acer Desktop with Win 11 is having slag issues with the latest version.

    If I'm gonna build my own FM (one day) I need to know this for the future

    There are existing more, but with these i think is enough. Don't abuse 

    I don't wanna cheat ;)  I'll ask for hints on the forum every now and then. If I cheat in the beta then maybe the game play won't do what was intended for this FM. Just say'n... You got a link to Lucy?

    Open the Console > god (this makes you inmortal) I use this in  the first walkthrough in a new mission, but most I prefer to do this with 'notarget', that makes that all the AI ignore you compleetly, except your contacts and allied in the dialogs.

     

    Where exactly is this God mode in console? I can't find it. It would kinda be cool to be immortal, but I usually just save a lot, so I can keep going anyways ;)

    This isn't a short mission - it takes awhile to play through - and for a first run I'd like beta testers to play without cheats (no godmode flythrough, please!), so gameplay issues are put to the fore. I'd also like this beta test to be "closed" - so I'll start a thread in the beta forum but PM links to testers, if there are any takers 😑.

     

     

    The longer the better. What is godmode? I made all the guards deaf and blind, but that's it.

    I've decided Not to upgrade my old Nvidia desktop. My GTX-260 broke before I left for Sweden 2.5 years ago, thought I'd fix it when I got home, but now that video card costs over $250 "Used" on Amazon & I don't ever buy used stuff, especially with moving parts. Besides if I do, I think something else will end up breaking. That whole thing cost over $8,000 to build back in 2008. Too old! My mom's new desktop Acer Aspire seems to work just fine with TDM & other game apps, as long as Nvidia is onboard :) 

    When will the final release of 2.10 arrive? Waiting anxiously on beta testing & just playing at all. I want to build my 1st FM, but I want the right version 1st. Will Dark Radiant be updated as well?

    It's alright, but the nightmare continues :( Moms Acer keeps shutting down while running YouTube premium. Every song! She went to Geek squad & now that the subscription has expired it's infected with something! That always happens when you don't pay more. I don't get it. Xfinity has the software for FREE & yet... Norton & something called Weber.

    I'm gonna have to wipe the whole thing & her laptop too. It's doing the same thing.

    Too bad Apple won't run *.exe files :(
