  1. I already do this! I put original file in darkmod/tdm_base02.pk4/script, and put edited file in darkmod/script/ or darkmod/fms/saintlucia. And appear same error in both situasions,

    I just remove this:

    I already say it before.

    its not a comment, so removing it causes the game to crash.

    I not delete any game files - just extract tdm_readable.script, delete language comment or change spaces to tab, No deal real code modify.

    And add this file back to tdm_base01.pk4 and run game. In begin loading save - this error-message.

     

    I try put edited file in darkmod/script/ directory, but error still here. And when come back original file, then loading continues.

    Game just reject any changes in script.

    1 - What are you trying to do?

    Change game script.

    2 - What is keeping you from doing it?

    Game, what crashed out of any change in tdm_readable.script. I don't understand how You edit this files.

    I only understand English, so if you're getting error messages, it would help if you attempt to translate them to English.

    OK - Terminate application

    Cancel - Debug this application

    Obviously is null-pointer situation.

     

    I already wasted 3 days to try change something in game, without any change in script or code.

  3. I don't want print text to screen. I say what script doesn't work, no error message or number of line, just crash-message.

    And i all-just deleted a comment! I don't make some changes, script should be working! How can this be?

    I yet replaced spaces to tabs, and game not accept my script-file.

    I edited 'tdm_readable.script' and game crashed. I just delete commentary:

    and put file back to tdm_base01.pk4. I can't change anything, game crashed anyway in loading mission screen.

    If i put original file, then game running normal.

  5. I want find function, what puts text in overlay and output it on screen with bookshelf or scroll image. I'm found OverlaySys.cpp, tdm_readable.def (maybe is script), and gui-files (postions outbox for text). But no found this function.

  6. Emmm. I don't think that "Amnesia" is so scary game. After "Penumbra" is seems weakly horror.

    Primary mistake authors, by my vision, is:

    1) almost visual effects (hallucinations)

    2) and authors scaring character, no player.

    Is prevents to consider the details. I think, not enough Fantasia to creating variaty horror-situations. Most is:

    * Draught, voices

    * stupid Zombies, from which me hiding into closet or next room

    * visions and flashbacks

    And over. And we always see this, again, again, again.

    Then after 10's times i understand - nothing to fear. Draught is nothing dangerous and zombies so stupid to come in next room or open closet.

     

    All fear - is do graphic and sounds :(. Is'nt enough! Very rarely meeting from "dangers" is inevitable and danger for health. E.g. is water-phantoms to "Old archive" (same is Demo), monster in sewers (which need deflect) and pursuit shadow to long corridors.

     

    May disсuss this.

    P.S. I'm not rated a Plot, too much text, not read.

    I think, that 2 keys on belt servant - is mistake developer. Players are accustomed to 1 key. Get key, decided is all, and go on.

    And more, you saw that man wearing the key back of belt? If blackjacking servant, need turn his body to get other key.

     

    How to get button, which up dome on chalice, if no rope-arrow?

     

     

    Excuse me, only now find how adding Spoler.

  8. I think, best game, which i played. Yeah, appear serious minuses (1->3 view, non interact environment), but... even if third game released not very freedom, is was only one game, that plays DX-fans.

    Is better that just many pages of text. Even after dictionary and auto-translation unclear left. And not easy find important info in text.

    Adding a player voice I would have thought would make it more difficult for non-English speakers

    What do you latched on to this word? Most FMs are boring for me because they often get stuck (FM-developers do not want show me the way).
