  1. That's why - we could close this thread. Thank you all for your thoughts and tipps. Kind regards from germany
  2. OK, I have fixed it. It goes the way like all in windows live: Uninstallation of Doom3, new installation, tdm new installation - it works. No more error box!! Thanks a lot, kind regards !!!
  3. OK, I tried to fix the problem - without success. 1. I looked for the C++ version and found: Microsoft Visual C ++ 2008 Redistrubutable - x86 9.0.30729.4148 was installed 2- I downloaded the 2010 version and have now: Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 x86 Redistrubutable - version: 10.0.40219 3. Start the tdmlauncher, select file to install: alchemist and get the same error box, there is no difference between before and now In the properties windows I have neither an option for "Advanced" nor "Unblock". I have Windows XP.
  4. good tipp, I try that today. Nice day... (might be the following: I bought in germany an english doom3 version through ebay. Perhaps a collision between "german" Visual C++ and "english" game software??) Thank you
  5. The problem stills. Have not found any keys to fix the error box. @stumpy: I can only see in "properties" from my pk4-files the "attributes". And there is no setted "write protection". All files are "as they are" (no attribute settings are marked). Or what is what you ment? greetings the problems stills also with version 1.04!!
  6. Bad! Nothing helps. The installation path on my system is: D:\Daddel\spiele\Doom3 Inside this folder are all the good single game folders. Everything seems to be correct!?!
  7. Hello , I have a problem after the upgrade from 1.02 to 1.03. Some missions suddenly wont start. The error window says: Mission installation failed Could not copy files. Maybe the target files are write protected or you're running out of disk space or lacking the required permissions? Too Bad :wacko:what kind of permissions? I have 250 GB free on the harddisk. And how were the files "write protected"? Thanks for your help!
