All right, I guess I didn't wait long enough ... I'm used to missions having a loading screen.

This mission will not start. After clicking "Start" from the objectives menu, it just freezes.

Hello there!

I am new to this whole "stealth-gaming-thing". I didn't play the original Thief series, but after seeing those screenshots on your web page and the many available missions I want to give it a shot. I don't exactly know what to expect from this mod, but it looks very promising.

I hope your concerns about that it could be "dying" are non-valid and you continue building it up.

 

If you have the time and money, the first two Thief games are available at GOG.com. And there is a huge library of fan missions available at several websites; you'd be in for a real treat.

There is no persistent city hub the way Thief 3 did it, but there are multiple city-based missions, some rather expansive.

 

Thank goodness. Having to run around the same sections of the city OVER AND OVER in Deadly Shadows grew extremely tiresome.

Ok, sound like your trying to get TDM, rather than this mission to run in a resolution it dosen't like..?

 

No, TDM runs just fine in 1920 * 1080 with other missions. I'm trying to upload the picture of the problem and the message boards won't allow it. I'm getting the Malloc Failure for 2097160 that so many others have gotten earlier with TDM 1.04.

we need either some screenshots or a desription of whats happening.

 

I've also tried going in to change the video resolution, and not only does it not help make the mission work, it results in a blurry menu when I try to return to my old resolution.

Well, I don't know what's going on, but I can't get this mission to run. I've tried several of the suggestions in this thread as well.
