Dude, you should ditch that floppy drive, taking up space man!
-
Yeah, the hybrid hilight is the best version
-
But in that case the "What the taff!?" would still work
-
They could just say a very generic line such as "aw crap!" or "what the taff?!" or something.

Those were very excellent, I read them all! I am a very indepent person so I sometimes have all of the problems on the list - clutter, lack of drive, procrastination, ineffiecient use of time, etc.
My favourite articles were "Do it Now" and "Overcoming Procrastination" - I found them very appealing and they got me excited on the possibilities of really making things better for myself!
Thanks for the links!

But I have two popup-blockers (built in IE and Google bar) which work very well to block all other popus so I don't get any anywhere else, only imageshack, so I just figured they had some new tricksy malicious kind of pop-up.
But like I said, I haven't converted yet, implying that I probably will sometime

no holds bard.
So is that like a minstrel without any hands?

I use IE, haven't converted yet...

Actually, from case studies I've read it would seem that the theories of thieves grappling the gun from you or shooting you first are not very common. Most of the time when a victim has a gun and pulls it, the thief either runs away or stops in fear. It is rare to be hurt when you pull a gun on the bad guy. But, it's true, you ARE more likely to get hurt than if you simply give him what he wants. I'm just saying that, as I undestand it, the risk is unlikely, as opposed to "most likely" as the above posts make it sound.

Tons of viscious popups! I have two popup-blockers running and still some of the imageshack ones make it through, though I hear two or three clicks of others getting blocked every time I open up a pic.
-
Those look really great! But can we please BAN imageshack!
-
-
I hate imageshack, and that brick texture is so-so, but...
It looks good, some good work there, thanks for sharing
-
I'm getting the same thing
-
? I think you have me mixed with someone else... ?
EDIT - Nevermind, I totally forgot about my pregnant-with-cat pic! The thing is, lately my wife and I are trying to get pregnant, and so the term that I'm pregnant isn't too far from my reality because we usually refer to it as "us" trying to get pregnant, not just her.

Happy B-Day!

(I'm 30)

I had no idea martial arts came from Germany!

Ah, excellent!

The Thief model will be ingame eventually, as we have to swap out the doom marine model that is currently in its place. The model is used for reflections and although it looks strange if you use it with a first person setup, player shadow. We're not going to put a lot of time into supporting player shadow, and it's turned off by default...but you can still try it out if you wish.
I always play Doom 3 with player shadow on! It's so much more immersive to me to see my shadow move along the opposite wall from the light, or things like that. It's one of the strengths of TDS to me

I remember watching my brother play the original Might and Magic back in like 1986 or whatever. I don't remember anything sci fi about it, it seemed to me to be pure fantasy, like Pool of Radiance, Bard's Tale, Wizardry, etc. Am I wrong?

I should've added some sort of smiley... what I meant was that we are ALL nerds around here, duh!
-
Too bad about you-know-what.
what?
-
No one here is a nerd, no way man
-
Sweetness!!! That IS quite a surprise, a very good one!

I've never noticed a fade hilight in Thief, but I'll check again...
EDIT - Well, I can see it now. When I hilight a door it VERY quickly lights up, almost instantly, so it's hard to tell, but then moving away I can definitely see the fade out. It is also quick, much less than a second of course, perhaps 1/10 or 2/10 of a second.
I don't mind insta-hilight though, since the fade times were so very short I never really noticed until I looked for it just now.
