Yeah same here, a bit annoying thing to worry about. Last one I had was 1 month ago then 2 within a day where only one left a dump file, so it will take some time to figure out

Done scans and diagnostics a while ago, all came back negative
Wherever the error is, the system can't pinpoint it, so I have to do it by patience as the BSOD is inconsistent

Good to know Lux, caus I have 2 old IDE drives still. When I tried installing Thief to one I got 2 BSODS without dump files. I supsect it happens when windows access a random file in a sector.

Yeah basically the dumbfile suggests anything between: CPU overheat/damage, memory fault, video fault, windows corrupted and anything relating to that. I'll try to figure it out 1 adjustment at a time, thanks though

I had the issue before the new 780 card, but I had it fixed for a month or so. The problem isn't related to TDM though and not worth a whole topic imo.

Unless it's a corrupted hal.dll file(Reinstall req.), then it's definitely a hardware issue, but from forums it points to any piece of hardware. I suspect it being memory too.

Yeah cubemaps would be awesome, but I'm considering just going for removing the transparency completely, except for the ones that can open. I'll have a go at it tomorrow and see

Well turns out one of the objectives currently can't be completed, so I really have to. Besides it's nice to tweak a few things here and there with new techniques. It's not a burden for me to do at all, just good fun
