    @Jesps: Can I ask you what exactly you are aiming for. This would make it easier to provide solutions.

     

    Say I have two functions in my mapname.script file; one called foo() and one called bar()

    Now I want the map to call foo() each time the player presses e.g. 'A' and bar() when he presses 'D'. It is not important exactely which keys are used, and it is ok if they overlap with other funtionality, such as movement, since I can just teleport the player to a blue-room, and have him look though a camera.

    The guard in the hallway noticing an ornament is gone

    The boss dude noticing that his safe has been ransacked

     

    While makes sense problem is it affects your stealth score.

     

    Does anyone know of a way to close the wall safe again after you've robbed it? I imagined this would be the way to stop the theft being noticed, but when I went to press the button again, it wasn't frobbable.

     

     

     

     

    Guards noticing missing things seem to me like a key element of the game.

     

    There is no way to close the safe again, unfortunately. I think it had something to do with the safe door acting strange it you frobbed the button several times quickly.

     

     

  3. Why is this happening sometimes after clipping brushes? The clipped side just disapear, and in game it looked same as in editor, also invisible

    You probably have filter -> clip enabled

     

    Regarding the cradle; it is made of brushes, and patches, not a model. Feel free to use it if you like. :smile:

  4. Yea the map still needs some dirt.

    And it runs nice (in this very early state), but I am also thinking optimization into the process along the way; for example the pillars (with the hammer cut out) cast no shadows. Instead I have created some simple shadow-casting brushes.

     

    I would say the basic arhiceture is about 10 - 15% done, the shots you see are basicly what is in the map so far.

  5. The first time i played it I somehow mislaid one of those damn red "keys" to opening the final boss door and so despite searching the entire game head to toe it had obviously deleted one I'd dropped to make room for something and so it was uncompleteable.

     

    I never completed if for that very reason. Other than that it was a very good game imo. Maybe I should replay it some day.

  6. I need some advice on bending patch cylinders. I have done it before, following the wiki. I once bent the end of a cylinder 90 degrees and ended up with a smooth curved bend by rotating the end vertices 90 degrees and then the next set of (green) vertices by 45 degrees, and positioning those vertices so I had a bent pipe.

    Now when I try to do it, I can only get sharp angled bends and the green vertices seem to have no affect whatsoever. Where did I go wrong?
