I guess a boomerang would be like a throwing blackjack. But it would probably not come back if you hit something...

Mouse Binding settings for Aux1 do not work
Jesps replied to Jesps's topic in DarkRadiant Feedback and Development
Thanks for the suggestion LDAsh. I have never heard of that program before, so I am not comfortable installing it though. Then I would rather stick to MMB Plus, it is not a question of DarkRadiant being unable to detect the mouse button. It clearly is, since I can change the mapping.- 4 replies

Hi, If I change the setting "Edit" -> "Mouse Settings" -> "Camera View" -> "Paste Shader Natural" to SHIFT + AUX1, I cannot use the Paste Shader Natural functionality. AUX1 is the button used for 'go back' in browsers. It works in other programs. It seems to be the same issue for AUX2 ('go forward'). I also tried changing other MMB bindings to AUX1 (Pick Shader, Paste Shader Projected) with the result that they did not work. Also tried with another mouse, with same result. If I set it to something else, e.g. shift + right mouse button, it works as expected. On Windows 10, 64

Fan Mission: Volta and the Stone by Kingsal (05/26/2016) V1.3
Jesps replied to kingsal's topic in Fan Missions
This was a very enjoyable mission to play. Gameplay was enjoyable. Good patrol routes, and shadows. It was perhaps a bit on the easy side, but for someone like me who is out of practice as far as TDM goes it was just what I needed. The story was enjoyable, and it is always nice to listen in on npc conversations. Visually the mission is very high class. The architecture, while a bit blocky reminded me of Thief, in a good way. Light and shadow where very well done. I especially liked the reflection of light in the water. It did feel a bit strange the way that the light level changed when -
My first real experimentation with modular building.

I have been using ghostery for some time, and it seems disconnect can find even more. Plus this: http://venturebeat.com/2012/07/31/ghostery-a-web-tracking-blocker-that-actually-helps-the-ad-industry/ (if one enables ghostrank)

EM to "crack down on 'unlicensed third party projects'"

That is some scary reading. -
func_static are basically entities that do nothing much other than being ... well static. You can do stuff like turn shadows or collision off. http://wiki.thedarkmod.com/index.php?title=Performance:_Essential_Must-Knows#func_static_v_worldspawn_Brushes

A somewhat consistent behaviour of voicing that they lost something, followed by the npc looking around for a few moments without being alerted would add to the immersion imo. We already have ai noticing things being taken from the surrounding world with some chance. This would not be so different I think.

Fan Mission: In A Time Of Need by kyyrma (2013/11/12)

Cool little mission. It had lots of little details that I liked, such as the anchor in the garden, and One thing I noticed
