  1. Thanks Jesps for this great mission.

    You are welcome :D

One question though: at the beginning of the mission, I

shot an arrow on a little traget above a stone hammer, which made it go down in the ground

. What was it supposed to do ?

Yes, there is some loot on top of it. Though you may have gotten it already by just climbing on top of the hammer. :)

  2. hey dudes, why particles are facing player ?how can i prevent it ?

In the Particle Editor you can change "wiev" (pointed at player) to one of the others x, y, and z aligns it to the corresponding axis. I cannot remember what aimed does.

Beware that if the player can see the particle from behind it becomes invisible.

  3. Thank you for starting this thread, Sotha.

My condolences goes out to Norway. I'm not sure I can find the words to properly describe my feelings, but I have been very saddened about it (even cried despite not knowing any of the victims). And reflection too, I have attended several political youth camps much like the one at Ytøya. Makes you think. :(

I am not sure the publicity is a strictly bad thing. The more we know about what goes on the heads of people like him, the greater the probability of spotting them in advance. That is my belief anyway.

  4. It is also worth mentioning that TDM can change the patrol route if the ai gets alerted, if mappers choose so. This way instead of going back to their normal patrol when they find a corpse or something, they instead use a different set of patrol points, say walk around the treasure room, or guard the only exit.

  5. Thanks for this mission Biker. A 1 1/2 hours well spend.

    Seasonal theme: 'Season is clear'

The season did its job. However I did not quite 'feel' it, though I am not sure what I would have done to improve it, other than maybe add some wind and leafs being blown around.

Gameplay: 3-4, rounding up to 4

I always enjoy the undead, and this map is no exeption. I did however find the fm confusing to navigate, and I could really have used a map.

    Aesthetics: 5

The graphics in this fm are fantastic! All those detailed patches

You did a good job on the ambient sounds too. They somehow reminded me of Arx Fatalis.

    Other:

I found a book that activated something, but I never found out what it was.

Torch switch? I have written torch switch as a positive thing in my notes, but I cannot remember what I ment. It activated a secret door or something?

  6. Glad you liked it, sir.

The puzzle is simply the best I could do with the abilities at hand  The initial idea was to have something where you would flip a switch and the door would open if the pieces were placed correctly.

And the eggs were added during the Easter holiday. It seemed like a good idea at the moment.

  7. Just spent half an hour of my life ( sad old man that I am )

waving a candle over the heap of snow on the bed in that bedroom. Is it supposed to melt or something? Is there a particular spot / way you put the candle on?

    thanks for any help.

not the snow on the bed

the ice on the lever, can be melted

  8. I enjoyed this one a lot. Very nice aesthetically :)

    Something interesting:

The objective for finding 10 easter eggs was checked, even though I only had 9 in inventory.

Anyone else experienced that? The counter needs to be activated 10 times to trigger.

I only missed finding 35 loot. Usually I'm short a few hundred my first time through a mission.

One more thing I found strange:

I found 2 levers which I didn't see what they did. One was in the kitchen on the wall and the other was in the main dining hall near where Rake was sitting. I could neither see nor hear anything reacting when those levers were thrown.

They are light switches. For the light over Rake's table, and for the light outside the kitchen door.

My map for the seasons contest. This small/medium sized map is the second in the Selis Woderose series. Flakebridge Monastery being the first.

    Briefing:

Flakebridge brought me a fine haul. It didn't last long however. I have aqured a treasure map that supposedly leads to the treasure of 'Francis Rake'. Apparently the treasure is hidden somewhere in the Rake family's castle located on an island in Lake Coulter. The castle is now in the possession of Rake's grandson, Francis Rake III.
