  1. That lid texture is from a smooth scratched copper picture. I can upload it to the kitchen. I would like to use total commander to send it. I just need an ftp address. If not I will try that tortoise again.
  2. Here is a re-take w/a different copper scrubbed.
  3. Uhg...I'm having difficulty trying to find the appropriate metal for the disc/spout. The original pinkish texture was a copper. This image here is brass. If you could post a better texture, please do. And we can see how it looks in-game. Also, I'll amp the smoothing in the final stage.
  4. Here is an in-game shot of the press.
  5. 480 polys Also, I stumbled on a really nice texture site that I would like to share with yall. http://www.woodltd.com/door-catalog.htm
  6. I cant wait for your tutorial. I'm still learning in that department.
  7. here ya go, on some well kept wine presses.
  8. Here is a darker, worn/used version.
  9. I really liked the image in the 1st link. So I based wine_press02 off of that. Here is what I have so far.
  10. I agree on the bends of the boards so I adjusted accordingly and made both a new and weathered skin. I just noticed a stretch in the legs, I'll fix that. But, this so what I have so far.
  11. I've already made a higher version. I can look into existing models and put them together as well. I use the modeler wings 3d. Illustrated is a newly made wine press.More skins to come.
  12. I was not happy w/the stand or leather grips. So I spent a few polys extra for the end result.
  13. This is what I have of the wine press so far (270). I'm not really happy with the legs or the leather on the handle. Odds are I'll re-work this. Have you guys considered an old fashioned wooden refrigerator/ice box? I could look into constructing one.
  14. Here is the sextant so far at 400 polys.
  15. Idea, how would you feel about something along the lines as an old fashioned wine press. Like so, illustrated below. Remodeled and with different textures of course. I could go as low as 168 or up to 422 polys. According to how detailed you want this. If this would be something of interest. Let me know and I'll get started. Also, below is a sextant at 1311 polys. This detailed object can be re-made to a lower poly rating as well.
  16. Here is a nice texture for a such said ice block. The transparency does not carry over from my modeler to unwrap3d. So, I cant make any transparent blocks. But, I would like to share this with someone who could.
  17. My image search turned out a real nice photo of a tuna that I used here. This fish is sitting at 126 polys.
  18. Also, I was researching fish and found this site with existing models. The disclaimer allows conversion and use. I checked the models and with a little work they can be reduced to around 700 to 900 polys. Or the textures could be used on a freshly made low model. Here is the site: http://toucan.web.infoseek.co.jp/3DCG/3ds/FishModelsE.html
  19. Dunno about SVN, its conflicting w/paintshop. I was thinking of using total commander or cuteFTP for uploads. I just need to re-aquaint myself with them.
  20. Yes, plus I cloned on some nails/screws. Also, will this require a shadow mesh?
  21. Here is the sickle w/a simplified handle. Total count 241 polys. I was not happy w/the edge so I re-worked it.
  22. Doh, wish I would of known that there was an existing one. I'll check the repository 1st from now on.
  23. Here is the cauldron sitting at 630 polys triangulated w/ends ect...deleted. Is this a good enough poly rating for the structure? Or should I remove or re-work the handles? Should I go with more of a cylindrical shape?
  24. I utilized Lightwave3d and was able to smooth properly. Sad thing is, its on a 30 day free trial.
