Finding this in dmesg:
[209521.694082] thedarkmod.x86[30801]: segfault at f7249740 ip 0000000008373110 sp 00000000ffcb9580 error 4 in thedarkmod.x86[8048000+4c3000] I run debian testing, intel drivers, with mesa-dri from experimental and S3TC enabled through driconf since it helps for not having an unplayable game with the all dark menu.
