    Leak!

    Hello. I've been doing Part 1 and 2 of the tutorial. When I dmap, it says there is a leak. But I have made sure that there isn't any gap between the textures where the pointfile is pointing. I've even expanded all the textures into each other just to try. It says that the light inspector is mapped to "J", when it's in fact "L".
  2. I'll try and start from scratch, to see if it was an intermittent problem or not. EDIT: Just reinstalled DarkRadiant, and deleted ...\Roaming\*. Problem does not persist. I think it may have been that I loaded saintlucia, but the application crashed when I mucked about and therefore after restarting it, the resources never loaded properly.
  3. Hmm, I quoted the entire text, to avoid the horizontal extension, but now it got formatted into "codebox". I take it you did it, for some ease-of-use reason that I as a coder don't know. Yes, I have in fact saintlucia mentioned in fs_game_base now. But when it was blank previously, the entities and other resources were nowhere to be seen. Now when I load DarkRadiant with fs_game_base empty, they show up though. Do you still want the log?

  7. I don't have any prior modding experience, but I wanted to try the DarkRadiant editor, since I'm a big fan of Thief and also FM's. I've installed Doom 3 through Steam, and DarkRadiant. I have successfully downloaded and played through Saint Lucia's and Thief's Den. Now, for the newbie question. When I follow the newbie guide, and get to the part when I'm supposed to "paint" the room I've created, there are no textures available, it's just empty. And if I press RMB and choose "Create Entity" or "Create Model", there are no models or entities available either. I've pointed DarkRadiant to use saintlucia as game (it is correctly placed in the Doom 3 folder). I thought that DarkRadiant would load the resources from the mod?
