  1. I've heard of linux users getting aas errors on packaged games... a simple dmap will fix it though
  2. You can download the separate files (see first post), and that is a surefire fix. I also re-uploaded a new NHAT.zip that has been re-archived/compressed with winzip, rather then winrar, and that seemed to fix the issue people were having as well.
  3. No video at the end... sorry your having a savegame crash!
  4. A savegame crash? It's a mod related bug . Working on it.
  5. You won't miss anything. But, darn it, pay attention to mission 2. There are so many cool optional objectives that having a high loot requirement may usually force you to seek out (thus possibly missing out on it when playing easy)!
  6. I'm really curious... what optional objectives are you guys finding in the 2nd mission?
  7. Yeah... just hit "r" (or whatever your drop item key is bound to) and stick the box in Kutty's face. It'll zap it away for you . If your too close to something, it won't bring the box out in front of you. There's a way into the Citywatch, believe you me Hint:
  8. I re-uploaded yet again using winzip rather then winrar - as I suspect that was the culprit. Updated main post with the new file. www.marcuszuhr.com/NHAT/NHAT.zip
  9. Just drop it within the vicinity of Kutty. It'll "zap" it out of your inventory. Easy stuff.
  10. Yes filesize is 144 megs. A lot of ppl are reporting "It cuts off at 120" Again, it works perfectly fine for me, when I download them. I tried downloading on 2 compeltely different computers with different OS', again, it works. I'm a tad clueless at this point. Maybe my winrar is compressing/archiving this all weird?! I had it compress/archive at "best" mode.
  11. No idea jaxa. None of my beta testers reported anything like that. It's probably system specific. Maybe your having the dreaded "massive savegame file" bug? Go check the size of the savegame... edit: Ugh, yes, this is a TDM mod bug... it's being worked on.
  12. Hey everyone I re uploaded it as a new file, NHAT3 (will be renamed later... for the sake of those still downloading NHAT). This one has gotta work. Sorry for the inconveniences. edit: I just dl'd it on two computers. One ancient one using a completely different zip program. Both work perfectly fine.
  13. I thought it was fixed as well... This was all tested on vanilla TDM 1.01.
  14. Strange. I PM'd MD about the corrupt filefront. I updated the NHAT on my own hosting - maybe it screwed up your current download? Anyawy, I tested my own 2 times now, and it works both times.
  15. Lol, the stupid black cube! Unfortunately with 1.01 there is no way to get rid of it. Play on, and let the black cube go.
  16. Not sure. I just deleted them all off my HD, downloaded it, unzipped it, and works perfectly fine. Is IE still renaming pk4 files to .zip? Check the fms/Politics folder and make sure you see "Politics.pk4"
  17. No Honor Among Thieves 1.0 I am proud to announce the release of the first TDM campaign, No Honor Among Thieves. ( Version 4.0 is now available. ) "Turns out those Builders aren't as righteous as we think... no surprises here. An old fence of mine sold me a bit of information concerning the local Archbishop, Lavonte Duchane , and our beloved governor, Archibald Cloist. Governor Archibald has, as of late, been spotted and caught in the local brothels by our very own Builder watch. But, instead of being made public by our lovely Builder brethren, the entire situation sort of vanished. Sounds like blackmail and bribery to me. In the peak of his career an exposure like this would mean sudden death for Archibald - no more noble's support, no more Builder's support, and no more public respect. Bad for his career, but certainly good for mine. What makes the cake even sweeter is that an exposure like would be disastrous for the Archbishop himself. I'm sure the both of them will be very motivated to keep this hush hush. These two really seem like my type - blackmailing and bribing away - so I don't think they'll object when I blackmail them myself... It's time to begin..." Notes: To install, simply unzip the contents into the "fms" directory of your Darkmod installation, or drag and drop the pk4 into the fms folder.. This campaign uses a very large amount of custom materials... models, videos, music/sounds... so it's bigger then the average bear (FM). Also, some of the ambients don't respond well to the sliders... this is a mod issue, and I'm hoping it will be fixed soon! Lastly, some linux users, for some reason, are having problems with NHAT Mission 1/3 showing up. This is because of a capital. Go your fms/Politics and rename the Politics.pk4 to politics.pk4, and also change the folder its in from "Politics" to "politics. Linux hates capitals apparently. Enjoy! 18. Lol, you guys are cracking me up! Soon my pretties, soon...
  19. Well at this point I've determined there's no way around the issue... I need to use the location based system, but most of the ambients won't respond to the slider since the _z ambients are completely broken. Ohwell. I didn't pick many loud ambients anyway.... and they can still be turned off completely by sliding the slider all the way to 0. edit: besides, I'll be updating the campaign a a few months from now, after 1.02
