In an earlier topic, I asked what branch of the British Army is best suited for Bletchley Park. After I decided to use the Corps of Military Police for the gate guards and Intelligence Corps for the remainder, I'm currently trying to find insignia for the two branches. I already figured out what to do with the caps, I just need to figure out what to do with the body insignia. Can anyone tell me what the tactical flashes etc. were for the two branches during WWII and which ones are best suitable for Bletchley Park? And also, did they wear those insignia on one arm, or both? If it's the former, I can't change it due to mapping limitations.
And yes, I did do some Google searches, but I just can't figure out what to do. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

Are you still revamping the first three missions for 2.04?
-
I've been wondering a long time, do you also occasionally work on your mod yourself?
Of course I do, I'm just not a good Photoshop artist.

You know, there's no rules that say you can't jump on top of new contributors volunteering to work on TDM and try to shepherd them into working on your own personal project instead, but be aware that most people will consider it kind of a dick move.
Okay, in the future, I'll contact them by PM.

There's actually quite a lot of textures I want to get done, but for starters, there's this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jbyel96ij2e5lh6/LuftwaffeDriverUniforms.rar?dl=0
Look at the two JPEG images, paying attention to the left patch on each image. That's the image I want drawn onto the textures. Replace the pink sign on the sleeve with what's on the JPEGs. For sol00.dds and sol10.dds, draw what's on the left in L006272full.jpg, and for sol20.dds, draw what's on the left in L008770full.jpg. You don't have to create NormalMaps for the textures. I hope I have stated these instructions clearly. Thank you!

If you're not too busy with Dark Mod-related work, I've been trying to find an artist to help me with various uniform textures. It's for a mod I'm working on, the next version of which I'm planning to release very soon.

Is this mission part of the William Steele universe (ie. any references like in Somewhere Above The City)?

Here's a playthrough of this mission:

Now the retailers are saying confusing shit about the game.
Amazon claims it has no release date for the console versions, and the PC version will come out on the 9th of February. GameStop and BestBuy claim that all versions will come out on the 9th, and Walmart claims the release date is the 31st of December.
Seriously, why is this even happening?
UPDATE: Alexey Agamalov, the creator of the Death to Spies series, has just posted to say that the reason for the delay is due to the submission process to Microsoft and Sony, and because the delays will push the game closer to Christmas, the decision was made to push the release to February because retailers won't accept new games during the Summer Holidays. Sucks, but at least we've now got an explanation.

The Steam page now claims the game will come out on the 19th of February, but I suspect it's a mistake because it's still unfinished, and no other source says it's going to be delayed. I really hope it's an error, I've been waiting for Death to Spies 3 to come out for a long time. If it's true, then this'll mean more work for MoTmod Addon in the meantime.

Perhaps you should check out my channel as well if you haven't already. I primarily post stealth gaming and 90s TV stuff these days, and I have posted plenty of Dark Mod videos.

Yes, except not everyone wants to get Fallout 4.

As stated, the stealth score 0, all loot run of the level has been finished.
Hope it does your level justice, Sotha.
Here's my video, and I did find the hidden letter:

Maybe you could use that head for a female inventor...

What is the model supposed to be?

Seems that fraps works just fine. I'm still running into a familiar problem with it on Dark Mod though; after long enough in a map it seems to effectively drop to single digits in FPS until I stop recording.
I'll try that, though halfway into a series I feel like it would be a tad inconsistent to change such a major feature.
Thanks for the notice and advice though, it'll be going into the saboteur run.
Edit: It seems fraps plays nice once I set it to a different file placement.
I know this because I have a couple of Windows 7 computers with this problem. Also, hope Fraps works out well for you.

I can't seem to capture Dark Mod on dxtory or fraps past 19 frames per second, anyone have any idea what's wrong?
It was working just fine a week ago, not entirely sure what's the culprit.
Weird, this never happened to me. I record Hitman: Absolution, Death to Spies and The Dark Mod just fine. BTW, I've seen your playthroughs of MoT a bit. The blur issue is very common when playing the game on Windows 7 computers. To fix it, just turn off Depth of Field.

That vocal set could come in handy with one of my planned FMs. I'm thinking of infiltrating a manor and assassinating a Bluebeard-like character.

Airship is on fire. And Cambridge, if its plot, or map layout stuff, you can always just post screens or info on the forums, people will give you suggestions. Or you can request a beta-tester, of course...
I have a wooden chest with junk inside and I just added the lid. Unfortunately, because the chest is so close to the wall, when the lid opens, part of it goes through the wall. Is there a way to move all entities related to the chest at once?

I don't expect to release my first mission before the year's end, but I have layed out the groundwork and I'd like someone to have a look at it.

Others can chime in here too, but here are a few of the gaps I've noticed:
1. Old voices
2. Pagan voices (attempts to come up with a good script/accent have failed thus far).
3. "smooth/sinister" voice
4. "gruff/man of few words" voice
Why not give pagans a Scottish accent?
Also, here are some vocal sets I think could be added:
Menoan - use an Iberian accent and use phrases from the Iberian dialects (Spanish, Portuguese, Basque, Catalan)
Violent Nobleman - think Bluebeard
Cynical Woman - think Liz Shaw , useful for female guards
Werebeast - if you decide to scrap the planned werebeast model for a more human-looking model, maybe give them a voice similar to the Jiralhanae in the Halo games
Knight of the Hammer - don't know what kind of voice would suit such characters, but I'm thinking of having Knights of the Hammer appear at some point in my main campaign, with their own models.
British Corps of Military Police and Intelligence Corps Insignia

Okay, looked at the photos. Unfortunately, I can't discern the insignia. But I will use the crown on the sleeve.
