  1. I've started experiencing this bug, where the short sword won't damage npc's. I experienced it intermittently with Moving Day yesterday, and now it's rampant in Ulysses 1. I'm using the latest TDM, 2.10, and this only started this week. The only fix is to restart the game entirely. Anyone know what causes this?

Interesting - sorry to hear you having an issue with the mission - as far as I know the game loads pretty much every reasource into memory when the map itself loads so not sure what would accumulate over a play through like this, so I wonder if it is an issue with some scripting in the mission getting stuck in a loop or something.

Is the console throwing out any errors of note?

Presumably you are on 2.11 with no mods installed? Mind giving me a run down of your system specs, os, graphics settings so I can see if I can replicate the issue?

Alternatively you can upload a save game and I will taker a look myself.

Thanks, must have been a one off thing. I went back, started getting choppy for some reason, I kept going then cleared up, and I finished the mission with no issues, played for an hour. Not sure what it was, but now looks like it's just something that's temporary and clears

  3. Great mission, but something I noticed is it gets extremely choppy, almost unplayable, if I play for more than 15 minutes at a time. This only happens with this mission.

I have 24 GB of ram (nothing else intensive running in the background either) and a decent video card, and lowering the graphics settings doesn't seem to do anything. When I exit, and restart the game, it's back to normal, even in open areas, before it eventually degrades, so I'm pretty sure there's some kind of problem particular to this mission

There is a fuse in the storage room in the basement. Use this fuse (I think with R) and fit it into the frobable part of the machine that does not work. After that, you can operate the crane.

Yeah, the mantling on top of the building became buggy the last few years and I do not know why. :(

    Regarding the

storage key: There are gratings that allow you to enter this area without opening the front door.

Is there a special reason why you are playing it in reverse order? Some of the story elements are linked together.

    Thanks.

I played the other first by mistake since it showed up after Initiation on the ingame list

  5. So I made it to mission 3.

    How do I get into

the topmost room in the first building?

I can't mantle from the accessible part of the roof (by the way, looks like the mantling is buggy too, at least up there).

    I also have a

storage key, but there's a basement door by the elevator that doesn't open with it, and I can't pick it

You do not have to go back to the starting area. No backtracking like that needed. What you have identified as a hearbeat is a machine sound.

Search for a room with two water pools. This room has two doors enabling you access to areas where you will have more luck finding what you need.

    Got it, thanks!

  7. I'm done the main objectives, but missing a ton of loot.

    I can't get in here:

In desperation, I used the show key commands, which revealed 2 key locations:

    Spoiler

One on a guy's belt at the pub, the other on a desk in the Lich compound,

but neither actually have any keys

    Spoiler

    (I used the glasses too)

  8. I don't remember if this happened in previous versions, but whenever I shoot a haunt with a fire arrow, the game often crashes. If I shoot and turn away, it won't, but if I'm looking at the haunt as the arrow hits, it crashes about 75% of the time
