  1. Hi,

    is it possible to mute menu music universally when I turn off /uncheck the menu music?

    The music appears when I press Escape during game and the menu appears.

    Sorry if this already considered IIRC I asked for this in some forum.

  2. Nice mission, 2 hours of play. It's quite convincing considering this is your first one. Thanks, it was fun.

     

    Some notes

     

     

    Some things which could be better:

    -The first objective is a spoiler. It would work better discovering during the game you can do the job keeping your hands clean. Even if this is the only solution.

    -Some elements are a bit overused, for example how you discover the secret door, and the location of the missing ring.

     

    Issues:

    -People on the loft of the stable behaved strangely after they discovered me. Some stepped on the table, didn't attack, the swordsman wasn't able to leave his place and threw things instead using his sword. The guy in light garment behaved normally.

    -There are dark boxes around horses.

    -The guy in the cellar has pathfindig problems. He wasn't able to go upstairs second time, he walked in circles before the stairs.

    -Annoying credit list in readables.

    -Invisible barrier at the door of the boss, outside. Is this a rough problem solving thing maybe?

    -Minor issue: bathroom lamp cannot be turned off like similar table lamps.

    -Minor issue: sometimes the trailer is hard to understand because of the loud music. This is a general problem in many missions, at least for me.

     

    -This is probably not your fault but I set ambient music to the lowest but I still hear music in game. Maybe developers read this, too.

     

     

     

  3. Maybe its too late but I made some pictures and notes.

     

    First of all I missed the lantern to see better things.

     

    -Door handle of the hut at the beginning is highlighted but does nothing.

    -Pink walls don't look well. What was the original idea? I had a feeling outside the walls emit light, too.

    -Watchtower door from library is strange. A door from outside would be better.

    -One should be able to close the secret door from inside as well.

    No, that box turns off the music only from the main menu if anywhere. The disturbing music is still present under other menu tabs. It is there in different missions so it might be a main thing.

     

    Music is ambient only if the sound comes form a certain place, a tavern or such. General music is not ambient.

  5. If you discuss for a next version is it possible to make the music volume variable? In some missions the music is so loud my speakers scrape. I have no problem with my speakers in any other game or listening to music.

    I didn't find music files to edit them directly.

    Or the possibility to turn music off at least.

  6. for the last two pictures, there's a ladder to climb to get to the next place. The things blocking you from jumping up are the boards above your head, they are solid, and that hole above your head is too small to fit through.

    There is but I wasn't able to move away from that column. Neither by walking nor by crouching.

     

     

    Just run the updater again, so it switches an other server.

    (Thats a "bug" of the updater)

    Did you run the tdm installer or only the tdm updater?

     

    Does the (quick)save options work?

    (Give write permissions to the darkmod folder, the installer will do this.)

    Just run the tdm-installer, point to the location where you "installed/manually unpacked/etc" tdm.

    (after this, running the updater inside the installer, is for you not necessary)

     

     

    Change in tdm, your screenresolution and graphics.

    (Maybe video driver update, too?)

    Quicksave works.

     

    I think the white letters are hard because of the font type. Maybe it's just me anyway.

  7. Hi!

     

    I was unable to download with the installer because the server was unavailable. It wasn't a firewall problem. Finally I downloaded from moddb. I suggest to give a moddb link on this page, too.

     

    F9 quick load doesn't work. PC, win7

     

    Double click on a saved game should load it.

     

    White letters in the menu are barely visible.

     

    I stucked at this point in training mission, jumping and climbing area with big boxes. No sign of visible barriers.
