@Zerg Rush I wish you had picked a more original name...
I have already realized it, but it is a nickname that I have for a long time also on other sites, to make it easier for people to find me on Google

Of course, for long dialogues they sure are not useful, I was also thinking about the voices of the secondary bots, whose vocabulary in many missions is quite limited and repetitive (I am hungry, I need a good strong ale, good performance this night, etc.since first TDM). These can be expanded and varied a lot with TTS.
But this can surely be used in missions to mix and create ambient sounds loops.

You do not have to apologize, surely you are much better into the subject than me. It was just a thought of mine when I saw this thread.

I don't know about you but I tried tons of TTS programs. All of them seem to be complete shite. I have become physically repulsed by these robot voices. So annoying. YouTube is full of examples. Anything is better than Text to Speech voice.
I know, this is why I have looked for these two that have quite natural voices, apart from adjustable. The latter even supports adding pauses and emphasis to parts of the text.
The technology in this field has advanced a lot and Loquendo voices like YouTube are only found in very old applications and sites.
Certainly a Voiceactor is always better, but I think that for some voices in between and short texts they can work perfectly, saving work.
In fact some services are already used for dialogs in other games.
Well, it was just an idea -

In the settings you can assign the buttons that suit you best.
I have assigned the right button to move forward and having a 5-button mouse, I use the side buttons to frob and use, the wheel can also be pressed, not only roll, with this you can also have some function, so I can do most of it with just the mouse, using the keyboard only occasionally.

In this line of shamanic / neofolk music I can think of mainly 2 groups
Wardruna and HeilungBoth I can imagine very well as a soundtrack in some TDM missions with undead and ghosts

Also a good source for free games is the official academy DigiPen page. They regularly give you the best games from their students for their free download. There are hundreds of games of any genre, all very original.
Among them the game Narbucular Drop, precursor of the game Portal, which was created by these students after graduating and being hired by Valve.F.Example this one https://www.digipen.edu/showcase/student-games/excalibots

Anyway, good game. Definitely go get it, everyone.

A separate curiosity about a game where you least expect it. The Vivaldi browser contains an 80s-style platform game, Vivaldia, for those who like to relax in between in their spare time.
P.S. The Dark Mod is also recommended in the Vivaldi support forum

My wife likes a lot Eternium, a nice Old School single RPG. It is free, with different purchase options in the menu, but it is only cosmetic and not necessary to play and advance in the game.
PC and it is also optimized for play in the Phone /Tablet with gestures

Thanks for your answer, and in your mission, the clues were not so much the problem, it can also be finished although not everything is understood, although naturally some details are lost.
This problem of the clues is more present in some other missions, where there are readings of several pages in books and letters, sometimes with very small print that cause my nose prints on the screen of my laptop, this in your mission was not the Case.
I fully understand that it is not possible to translate each mission into many different languages, which would greatly complicate its development. But perhaps you can look for other methods to leave clues than just reading many pages in future missions..I have recommended this game in many forums and among my friends since it's first v.2.0, and for some, although they like this type of games, they told me that the language is why they cannot play it. I know a little English, but there are some for which the texts could also be in Chinese, because they don't know anything about English.

I certainly had some performance issues on the outskirts of the hotel, but within this performance was normal, although I only have a fairly normal laptop (8 Gb RAM, 2 Gb AMD Radeon GPU.
The mission was quite fun, though certainly somewhat strange. Overall I love TDM and I want to congratulate the creators on an excellent job.
The only thing I can generally criticize is, that on the one hand my English is not very advanced and sometimes I find it very difficult to understand the clues well, adding that I am an older man with an already not very good view, sometimes with difficulty reading well the clues written in letters sometimes very small.
Still, so far I've managed to finish all the missions, sometimes without clues. -

The "Shader not found" and "Caulk" textures on the back of the mansion walls are intentional. If you look at the map in DarkRadiant you'll see the materials are called fake_shader and fake_caulk. If you're confused why that is, check all of the readables carefully as it's explained in the story.
Extra tip: Look under the tables on the balcony after having read the scroll. You should find a second version of the priest's journal. I was wondering how many people found that, as well as an additional scroll that has different versions before and after completing the main objective (lootable from someone's hips).
It certainly seems like a bug, but if you can finish the mission, just go to the end of the path behind the fence and the dead horses, up to where the map ends and the silhouette of the city is visible in the background. The game ends then.

In another forum where I made it known, Linux users were delighted with TDM, because the offer of games for this OS is not exactly overwhelming, in this field Windows rules and OSS games are usually quite crappy, while TDM really is comparable in quality to many commercial games.
