  1. no problem - I uploaded some photos into Textures/Research_Cloister. have fun
  2. lol alright. I just thoght, that it'd be easier for fm-authors to find the corresponding end a wall-texture based on a photo of the cloister: http://www.dark-project.com/BlackThief/old_wall1.jpg it shouldn't be used for large surfaces though, cauze you'll easily see, that it repeats...

  4. I visited the Cloister Maulbronn, which is a World Heritage Site, today and took about 80 pictures with my digital-camera (3.1 mega-pixels) So I'm going to do some gothic textures next week.

  9. haven't seen this thread so I've already posted it in the other thread there must have been several missunderstandings, maybe because it was a bit chaotic 1st he wrote in the introduction, that I'm a 3d artist .... 2nd: he got that wrong. I actually meant source pictures to make textures out of them. For example my pictures, that I took on a trip to an old castle. maybe someone, who's still in contact with him could clear that
  10. I made some high-res guard textures for thief 3 - I think that I'd be able to do this for our mod as well I'm also interested to do some furniture textures - I've got a whole bunch of high-res pictures to take textures from. example: original: my version
  11. nope - I just added the round mosaic or whatever into the tile-texture but a transparent texture would be smarter... BTW the 2nd texture is now on the ftp too

Renz you were right - I'm on a roll new marble texture http://www.dark-project.com/BlackThief/floor_test3.jpg the white line isn't a texture issue - the brushes just don't fit together properly.   15. thx. I'll upload it. Maybe I should start organizing my new textures. So I'll put it into a Mansion/Walls/Stone folder, alright ? edit: everything is on the ftp, including the normal- and specular map

  18. I don't know if this is clear to everyone:the stainglass is from "The Circle of Stone and Shadow". We can't use that, right ? - so we first have to do our own version - after that we should do a new vote IMO. I voted for the dark parchment - IMO it has a lot of dark atmosphere and is very thiefy

  20. Renzatic requested a banner for his map - however the banner I made today would IMO fit much better into a builder(hammerite)-map. But I actually don't know what kind of emblem we're using for our builders. So it'd be nice if Springheel or someone else could draw some suggestions.
  21. that's why I put the smily ' ' in anyway I've got a blank red banner now in thief1/2 "format". pretty highres. now I need to know what kind of emblem you're looking for. I could also make a builder-banner, but I think Springheel and maybe the whole team should first decide what kind of hammer emblem we're going to use.
  22. they used a 3d model in thief1/2 and simply changed the textures.
